Jisoo acts as if she didn't notice anything and takes a sip of the drink in front of her. As the event progresses Taehyung doesn't leave Jisoo's side for even a bit. Even when Irene called him to meet up with the investors, he took Jisoo with him and introduced them.

He noticed how everyone was staring and stealing glances at Jisoo waiting for a chance to talk to her and him being with her made them think twice about approaching her.

Jisoo also enjoys the party, for she has an identity now. First she was introduced as the Ambassador and now as Taehyung's fiance. She feels a sense of belongingness there, as if her presence did matter

Finally it is time for the presentations. Taehyung and Jisoo sit together along with Lisa and Jungkook. Irene is backstage waiting for her chance to get on stage.

"And now, I'd like Mrs. SeulKi to give her presentation. She is representing Hun Corporations and they will be pitching their idea now" the announcer says

Everyone claps as the presenter walks on stage

"That's our cousin Sehun's company" Lisa whispers at Jisoo's ears. She has been helping her a lot with getting used to everything. She considers her as a sister she never had.

Taehyung and Jisoo also clap and as their presentation is being projected in the back screen, colour drains from Taehyung's face

This is exactly the idea that his company is gonna pitch for.

How could this happen? Taehyung got this idea for the project two years ago and the only person he shared it with was Irene and they've been working since then to perfect it. How can someone make something identical to his project?

Jisoo's face also falls flat, it was Sehun's company? She has been helping his company all along?

Irene can also see the presentation and her feet feels numb. What will she present now?

As Mrs. SeulKi ends her presentation, all the investors stand up to applaud her. They've all liked her pitch. Sehun smiles a victorious smile and looks at Taehyung

"Guess who'll have the last laugh today cousin" he says and thanks the anonymous person who sent him the email. He recieved and email from them a while bacl claming that they can smugle information from Taehyung's company to his and he responded promptly. Little does he know that it was Jisoo who sent all the mails

Taehyung sits patiently in his seat, waiting for Irene to come on stage. This is all a bad dream right? His idea got stolen right in front of him and he cant do anything about it.

"And now, last but certainly not the least, let's welcome Ms. Irene representing the Kim Estates, the winner of this deal for the last couple of year. After that explosive presentaion from the Hun's, it'll be nice to see how Ms. Irene manages to steal the attention back to their company. And judging by the company's past record, it's gonna be a good competiton people " the announcer says and walks out

The screen is blank, only a spotlight on stage as Irene walks in. She looks at the crowd and immediately meets Taehyung's eyes. His eyes express all sorts of emotions but mostly a sense of defeat but still he is sitting patiently trusting Irene's words "I'll make you win, she said. She has to have something under her sleeves. Only she was the one to know about his idea" he says to himself

Irene looks down and walks towards the mic

"Ladies and gentlemen, I am really sorry to take up your time but I don't have a presentation tonight. I thought I did but due to some unfortunate events I am not able to present it anymore. The Kim Estates will pull out of the deal this year" she says and the crowd gasps
