Psalms 115 vs 16(The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s; But the earth He has given to the children of men.)

■ Demon spirits are aliens to this world, God did not create them to be here on earth.

# What is a stronghold?
Strong-hold ~ Hold-strong

# A particular place that has been so fortified, to prevent escape.

●  A captured territory is a stronghold.
A repetition of painful events in a family, in one's life is a clear indicator of a stronghold.

■ Demons are territorial, they keep control of their captives by hypnotizing them.

*Examples*

1● Luke 8 vs 26 -38(And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee. And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs. When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not. (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.) And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him. And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep. And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them. Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked. When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country. They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed. Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear; and he went up into the ship, and returned back again. Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying,)
● A legion of demons (3 to 6 thousands demons possessed one man)
The demons requested to be cast into the swin because they love to hold onto territories.

■ There are demons in control of cities and countries that keep people bound.

■ when a demon is cast away, it goes to gather more companions and they return to to check if the place is available for them, in order to re-occupy, because they don't let go of territories.

2● Acts 8 vs 9-11( But there was a certain man called Simon, who previously practiced sorcery in the city and astonished the people of Samaria, claiming that he was someone great, to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This man is the great power of God.” And they heeded him because he had astonished them with his sorceries for a long time.)

■ Simon the sorcerer after hearing the good news from Peter, was still in search of power in order to be able to control the territory.

•Some of our lineages are under the control of more than one demon, under siege by stronghold.

3● Acts 13 vs 8-11(But Elymas the sorcerer (for so his name is translated) withstood them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith. Then Saul, who also is called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him and said, “O full of all deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time.” And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand.)
