i think, by the time wei wuxian got back, lan wangji was truly content with his life, even happy but do you ever think about sizhui seeing hanguang-jun, who he loves and respect so much watching wei wuxian doing something utterly mundane, and smiling that slow blink love smile
sizhui, who knows him so well, looking at lan wangji looking at wei wuxian and realizing he's never seen him like this before, this perfect simple happiness, this relief from a pain he's carried as long as sizhui has known him sizhui seeing this other side of him
i just think sizhui, who loves and respects him so much, would be so happy to see him that happy and yes, he loves wei-qianbei on his own, and for his past but i think he loves him even more for bringing such joy to lan wangji
