"Food is important and should be your priority." He cried, turning to look at me seriously. I crossed my arms and rolled my eyes.
"My strength is my priority."
"The crew's satisfaction and health is my priority. Your starvation is my priority."

"But it isn't mine, okay? Now leave me alone." I told him, annoyed of his efforts of lecturing me. I grabbed the weights until he held onto my arm again.
"Can you eat it? I work hard on my dishes so stop ignoring it." He asked me, sighing and taking the bento box and putting it on one of my hands. I let out a tch and dropped the weights.
"You're so annoying." I replied, snatching the bento box and digging into the white rice. He laughed and exited the room peacefully without any fights starting.

It was quite odd to have a slightly normal conversation with the cook since it's never really happened. We fight nearly every second of the day so seeing him lecture me without calling me names or bickering with me is something else. I munched on the goodness in front of me; the white rice tasted delicious, making me crave for more. I groaned loudly as I brought myself to go down and get some more dinner.  The moment I reached the doorknob to the kitchen, I hesitated and backed away. After a few minutes of staring oddly at the door and thinking of my entrance, I opened it and all the noise stopped abruptly. Sanji smiled at me and gestured where my seat was. Everyone resumed on doing their business. I narrowed my eyes and marched lazily towards him, sitting down and waiting for the food. He stood up and grabbed some more white rice, knowing that I only came for my favourite dish. He, as always, threw the white rice at me aggressively and he went back to doing his own thing.

"Oh, Zoro! You came for dinner!" Luffy noticed, dancing along with Usopp and Chopper who both seemed to still be starving. I scratched my head and looked the other direction.
"I just got hungry, no big deal." I told him quietly, starting to slow the pace of my eating.
"Hehe, Sanji's cooking is the best so it's not surprising you came back for more!!" He complimented the beaming Sanji who fiddled with his fingers on the table as a sign of embarrassment.
"I'm experienced, haha. Nothing more, nothing less." The cook replied, immediately grabbing a cigarette and lighting it. I finished the white rice and laid back on the chair, exhaling softly.

When almost everyone went to their rooms, I stayed in the kitchen, lying peacefully on the cold wooden floor. It was around 12 a.m until I felt something hit me hard on the stomach, that something roughly resembling my swords. I looked up and quickly found out that the heavy weight dropped onto me were my swords. After knowing that, I wondered how it had gotten removed and how it suddenly fell on him. I felt all around my swords, every edge, until I found out that I had lost one of my swords. I stretched my arms and adjusted my eyes, looking around and finding black shoes stepping back and forth across the kitchen room. I stood up and my eyes widened to see the cook still doing his chores. He was washing the dishes until I reached out for his hand to stop him from continuing. His eyes fixated onto me. I guided his hand to put the plate down and held his hand tightly.

"What are you doing so late at night?" I asked him worryingly. He embraced me and almost fell asleep.
"Nami-swan wanted all the chores to be finished since we'll be having a visitor today." He smiled weakly at me, pushing me away from his sudden embrace. I froze and scratched my head.
"Can't she just wait for tomorrow to get this finished? Jeez, what a handful." I whispered, loosening up my hand with Sanji. I shoved him aside and took the scrub, ready to wash the dishes.

"Go to sleep, your eye bags are getting really bold and obvious now." I said calmly, wiping a plate clean and placing it in the drawer. He was in awe, not wanting to move an inch away from me.
"Huh? You wanna help me?"
"Shut up. You look half dead right now. Just do as I say and go to sleep, I'll be fine." I spoke loudly, starting to agitatedly wash the dishes although still trying to contain my temper.
