Archie watched as Jack looked into the baby nest of newly born kits. He was wearing a special hoodie and gloves set that North had made that kept his natural chill inside so it wouldn't touch the kits. The little ones were only old enough for their eyes to be open and their ears to stand up, however their speech was still babbling. He watched as Jack spoke quietly with them even though they couldn't understand him.

"If you wait long enough, you'll hear him sing to them if they don't settle down." He looked back as Lily walked away with a smile on her face. He looked back to see all the kits settling except for one. He watched as Jack picked the little on up before cuddling him close, rocking side to side slowly to get him to sleep.

Archie slowly walked closer to the area so he could hear. He watched as Jack swayed back and forth.

"You're just a ball of energy, aren't you?" He smiled as Jack whispered back and forth with the kit. He leaned against the closer wall as he waited patiently for the singing. He knew that Jack knew he was standing near him. He hoped that he would let him hear his voice.

"Your little hand's wrapped around my finger
And it's so quiet in the world tonight
Your little eyelids flutter 'cause you're dreamin'
So I tuck you in, turn on your favorite night light"

Archie held his breath as he listened. He knew this song. He had heard about the story of Jack singing it to Jamie once upon a time. He leaned on the wall with his eyes closed as he listened to his lover singing the song softly. He heard the kit slowly settle down before finally looking over again. He watched Jack slowly lower the kit into the nest with the other little ones.

He looked up as Jack made eye contact with him. A shine of peace was in those blue eyes. It had been a week since they woke up from their deep sleep. He didn't move as Jack came up beside him.

"Have fun being nosey?"

"You should sing more often." He watched Jack slowly build his walls as he turned away. He held his breath as the boy turned away from him to walk away. He followed after him, the way to Jack's room. He closed the curtain door behind him as he watched the other place his staff on it's holder before stripping his hoodie.

Jack had started wearing t-shirts under his hoodies so he could take it off anytime if he wished. It worked great when believers wanted to play outside but he didn't want his hoodie dirty. He walked further into the room to sit on the other side of the nest to join Jack. He was waiting.

"Emma was the only one I used to sing to. The only reason Nick and Andy would hear me was if Emma asked me to sing in front of her friends. Other than them, once I sang to Jamie in front of the Guardians. That's been it, the kits here are the exception. I don't know how to sing to just you."

Archie sighed before taking Jack's hand. He would sing to him alone one day.

------------------------------------

Archie was sick.

He groaned into the pillow beside him as he tried to curl on his side. He heard the Bunnymund family outside the door as he wallowed in Jack's nest. His head was killing him as he fell in and out of a fitful sleep. He couldn't get comfortable. His fever had him stripped down to only his boxers.

"Has he been in there all day?" He could've cried in relief at the sound of Jack's voice. Jack meant cold. Cold meant this fever could quit killing him. He could get relief.

"Yeah, he's been in and out of sleep. He looked terrible when I went and checked on him when he was asleep. I think he's got a fever." That was Liam. He was surprised the youngest Bunnymund wasn't with Thea, they were usually stuck at the hip-
