Love For Dummies

That night.

Liam's mom pulled up to the school and picked us up,

"Hey Liam! And Henry!" She said,

"Hey mom!" Liam replied,

"Hello." I told her.

the car ride was mostly silent until we got to his house,

when we got there I took of my shoes and stepped inside,

his house was pretty big for being an only child,

"Hey Henry, let's head to my room!" He said,

I nodded and we ran inside,

it felt just like when we were younger,

"So Henry, how are things going with Liiiaaaa?" He asked,

"I don't really like her..." I said,

"Ooooh! Who do you like!?" Liam asked,

"It's no one..." I lied,

"Awww..." Liam said,

"Do YOU have a crush?" I asked him,

"No, not really..." Liam said,

I have a chance!

"Hey Liam, I have something to tell you..." I said,

"Yeah?" He asked,

"I- Um..." I froze,

"I'm gay..." I said,

Why couldn't I just tell him that I had a crush on him!?

"That's fine by me Hen! I'm actually Bisexual myself!" Liam told me,

I have a chance! I actually have a chance!

just then Liam's mom opened the door,

"I'm ordering pizza, what type would you guys like?" She asked,

"Pepperoni!" Liam exclaimed,

"Pepperoni." I calmly said,

"Okay, i'll go order some." She said.

Liam and I grabbed 2 slices each and we scurried off to his room,

I was eating when I looked over at him,

He is so cute...

"Hey Liam? Did you ever get into the Foreign language club?" I asked him,

"No, apparently just knowing how to sing the demon slayer intro isn't enough to get in..." He said,

"Haha! That sucks man!" I said,

once we finished eating and threw away our trash in the kitchen trashcan we ran back into Liam's room,

"Henry, you never told me why you didn't want to talk to Drew." He reminded me,

"Oh, well, I was at a sleepover with Jake and he called Drew to ask why he became friends with us and he said that he's only friend's with me because he knew that you wouldn't join unless he let me join too..." I told him,

"WHAT!?" Liam yelled,

"L-Liam, calm down please..." I said,

"Ok fine..." He said,

I yawned,

"You must be tired, we should go to bed now." He said,

"Yeah..." I replied,

we made a pallet on the floor out of blankets and laid down on it,

"Night Liam..." I said,

and soon we fell asleep.

I yawned as I woke up,

of course I had a nightmare,

usually I just get my phone and listen to calm music until I cooled down,

but I didn't bring my headphones,

I can't just do nothing,

I feel so scared,

I decided to try and wake Liam up,

"Henry? What is it?" Liam asked in a groggily sounding voice,

"Uh- I-I don't wa-nt y-you to thi-think i'm a baby but I... I had a n-nightm-mare..." I managed to choke out,

"Shhhh Henry, breath..." He told me,

I listened to his advice and I felt a little more calm,

"Now Henry, what happened in your nightmare?" He asked me,

"I was walking when someone kidnapped me, they then peeled my skin off..." I told him,

He then gave me a hug,

"That must have been scary! But you need to go to bed Henry, we have school in the morning..." He told me,

I didn't know he could be so calming,

but eventually I dozed off to sleep.
