I was able to find some cute fanart of Natsuki and 'Dan'.I thought it would fit perfectly with this chapter, so I added it. (Credits go to the owner of course.)Well then, have fun reading!

Dan's POV

School was finally over and Sayori and I entered the clubroom. As soon as I stepped into the clubroom, I felt a light but not too light punch against my arm. I turned towards the direction the punch came from and met with Natsuki's eyes. The instant I saw her, I couldn't help it but remember the kiss she gave me yesterday. "H-hey, Natsuki! Why did you punch me?" "I uhm.. I need your help. Don't you dare laugh at me! Even if you grin or something, I will beat you up!" "Woah, calm down tiger! Who said I was gonna laugh? Now, what do you need help with?" She motioned at me to follow her and we eventually stopped at the closet. Natsuki opened the door and pointed to the highest shelf, "Monika has been messing with my collection again and placed it on the highest shelf, for some reason she didn't think about the fact that I'm too small to reach that high." "Alright, so you want me to get it down for you?" "No, I can do it myself," She said as she rolled a chair to the closet. "But if there is even the slightest chance I might fall, you will be able to catch me."

I facepalmed. "Natsuki, you know that it would be far easier and less risky if I were to do it." Natsuki just ignored me and stood up on the chair. Even with the chair, she was barely able to get her collection down. But she did have to stand on her toes which made the chair go all wobbly. I immediately grabbed the chair, thanks to my extreme reflexes, and held it in its place. Unfortunately though, Natsuki wasn't able to keep her balance and fell right on top of me. There I was, laying on the floor, between all kinds of romance manga and with a girl on top of me.

I sighed and Natsuki looked up at me while blushing intensely. "I told you it would be less risky if I were to do it." She hid her face in my chest and was just about able to hear a muffled 'Shut up...'. I laughed and ruffled her hair. "Come on Natsuki, we need to clean this mess." "...Fine." She still didn't move, so I had to lift her up. Luckily for me, she was extremely light. I grabbed all the scattered manga and gave it to Natsuki, so she could sort it by series and place it into the closet right away. After about ten minutes, Natsuki got everything organized once again.

We both sat down against the wall and sighed. "It hasn't even been twenty minutes and I'm already exhausted." Natsuki nodded in agreement. "Do you still want to read? I got My Hero Academia with me." "Yes!" I laughed at her excitement. "I could also bring other shounen manga, you know." "I know, but let's stay with My Hero Academia for now, I haven't read enough to say I like the shounen genre or not." "Sure." I dug through my bag, searching for the piece of manga. I opened the volume and we continued right where we stopped last time.

We were able to read the rest of the first volume in less than thirty minutes and Natsuki didn't even fall asleep this time. I spoke too soon... After we finished the volume, Natsuki yawned and laid her head on my shoulder. "You should bring a pillow if you're going to sleep every time." "But isn't that why you're here?" "Haha, very funny." I rested my head on hers, ignoring the complaints that came after, and we both dozed off.

I woke up seeing Sayori standing in front of us with her phone in her hands. "You two look so adorable together!" Sayori squealed, "I just had to take a picture!" "You what?!" I said blushing. She then showed me a picture of Natsuki and I sleeping against each other. Speaking of Natsuki, she woke up right after that. "Look Natsuki! Isn't this a cute picture?" I looked away embarrassed, while Natsuki saw the picture. "Sayori!" Natsuki hid her blushing face in my arm, while my face just kept getting brighter. "THIS IS EVEN CUTER!" Oh no... "I will definitely make this into my phone background." Sayori skipped away happily, smiling at her new background. I sighed and stood up. "Come on Natsuki, club is almost over, we should pack our stuff." I offered my hand to her.

I could see Sayori already waiting for me, so after I packed my stuff, I walked in her direction. But before I was able to reach Sayori, I got stopped by Natsuki. "We're going to bake the cupcakes this weekend, got it?" I nodded "Got it, ma'am!" Natsuki then quickly made her way out of the classroom.

"I see that you have made some progress, eh?" Sayori started as we were walking back home. "Maybe a little." "This picture tells me it's more than just 'a little'. Did something happen yesterday?" "No, n-nothing!" "Suuuure." Sayori smirked at me.
