As I write this
my heart is joyous,
my thoughts are clear
as clear as crystal
they hold no grudges.
As I write this
I wish all men
a bountiful year ahead,
let this be
the beginning of warmth
in this odd world.
As I write this
let my soul be merry,
let love be present
from now on
let her smile on us .
As I write this
let those who hate me
be aware that I don't care
their incarnation and spells
are useless towards me
this year is a new one .
As I write this
let my songs be
as pure as honey,
let my loves be
as beautiful as they have ever been.
As I write this
I am before you,
make me yours
and bless the days ahead
so we can praise
all day long.
