Anu's POV

I was sleeping soundly when someone tried to wake me up.

"Jaan", Adi said

"Wake up, jaan. It's time for your sargi. Get up", He said pulling my hand

"No, let me sleep", i said and again closed my eyes

"Get up right now", he literally ordered me and i immediately sat up

"What's the time", i asked rubbing my eyes

"It's 3:45 am", Adi answered and my eyes widened

"Shit", i murmured and ran to the bathroom to take a tower while Adi shake his head at my antiques

Why I'm like this god???

Today is karwa chauth and maa told me to come down at 4 am to eat sargi (Sargi is the food that's eaten by the woman who fasts through the day, after taking a bath in the early hours of the morning. This food is prepared by the Mother-in-law. The sargi has both sweet and savoury dishes).

I took a quick shower and wore a red colored suit. I came out of the bathroom to see Adi sleeping.

I came downstairs and saw maa and dadi sitting at the dinning table.

"Good morning maa and dadi", i wished them and took their blessings

"Good morning beta, now have your food you are going to be fasting all day", maa said and we as in maa and me had our food.

After eating, maa told me that i can again sleep now. So, i happily entered my room and laid on the bed. Sleep engulfed me as soon as i closed my eyes.

Time skip

I opened my eyes due to the heavy weight on me.

This man!!

"Adiiii", i tried to remove his hands from me

"Hmm", he hummed

"Wake up, don't you want to go the office today", i said looking at the time

"Oh shit", he too murmured

"Yeah shit", i smiled

He's being just like me, clumsy!

He got ready for the office while i prepared his breakfast. Soon, he came down and everyone sat on the table.

"I'm leaving", he announced

"But you didn't had your breakfast yet", i asked

"I don't have time as i have a very important meeting but don't worry i will have something after the meeting, okay", he kissed my forehead and left
