Anu's POV

Getting ready for party was the toughest task of my life but thankfully I got ready on time otherwise mumma would have slaughtered me.

Right now, we are in car and papa is driving the car. I insisted to drive the car but mumma said that if I drive then instead of going to party we would have to go to a hospital.

I'm mean I know I suck at driving but they can atleast let me try, right???

We soon reached the venue.

"Both of you, just behave, okay", mumma warned me and Aarush and we immediately nodded our heads

My phone rang and I saw that it was the call from the company in which I have applied for job

God, i really need to take this.

My dear food, please wait for me I'm coming sooon.

Author's POV

Suresh Randhawa (Adi's father) was with wife and son talking to Mr. Kapoor, his business partner when he saw Mr Mahesh Bharadwaj (Anu's father), he immediately excused him and left to meet his childhood buddy

"You finally graced this party, huh. You have not lost your habit of going everywhere late", Suresh said

"I'm so sorry, yaar. You know old habits die hard", Mahesh laughed and hugged his old friend

"You both always act like this. Anyways, Bhai saab, how are you and bhabhiji", asked Sharda (Adi's mother)

"We are good Sharda, how are you and Adith", asked Mamta (Anu's mother) and Adith greeted them

"We are good too and is that Aarush ", asked Sharda

"Yes, bhabhiji", said Mahesh

"Look at his height, I'm telling you Mahesh, he is going to be much more stronger than you", said Suresh and everyone laughed except Adith who was still processing everything.

Anu joined them.

"You come my girl, Anu meet uncle and aunty, you remember when you were 5 you used to go their house everyday", her father said

"Hello uncle, hello aunty", Anu greeted them and looked at the handsome young man standing beside them who also looked at her.

And that's when Anu know she is in trouble.

Those eyes, many intense emotions were swirling in his eyes which made Anu shiver while Adi was still standing there looking at her and made no move to say anything

"My goodness, you are so beautiful beta (child) just like your mother", his mother complimented Anu and she blushed

Adith's mother glared at him and soon he came out of his thoughts and cleared his throat

"Hii", Adith forwarded his hand and they shook hands. Anu smiled whereas Adith tried to process every damn thing that was happening

"Adith why don't you show Anamika around", said his father

"Sure dad", he replied and looked at Anu who reluctantly followed him
