Patrol 4

CJ pov meanwhile
We just left poor MJ for patrol it wasn't a very eventful night a mugging, we found a lost dog, we donated some change to a homeless guy, helped an old man find his car and just hung out for a couple hours, we did some sparring and watched the sunset it was really pretty.

At about 9pm we decided we should go home because Peters curfew is at 10pm and it will take us like 35mins to get home. We arrived home checking to make sure no one could see us go into our homes and kate and I went to my apartment and Peter went home, we saw a note on the counter, MJ and I always leave little notes to each other with a little xoxo cause gossip girl and we always use our full names and not our nicknames, the note read:

I have gone to bed because I have work tomorrow so I won't see you until tomorrow night. There is a pizza in the oven for you, Kate and Peter if he's there and we have no food so can you get groceries tomorrow. Also u left ur phone here I put it on ur charger in ur room.

I read the note out loud to Kate and when I finished I looked up to see Kate sitting on the couch with half a piece of pizza in her hand so I go sit by her and together we finish the 2/3 of Pizza MJ left us. After that we decided to go to bed Kate decided to stay here because we were training tomorrow morning anyways.

Kate fell asleep very quickly so I decided to check my phone and I realised MJ was on my group chat I didn't mind but now I had to stop them from worrying about me being kidnapped, which is a story for another time.
