She asked in a very stern voice. I rubbed the back of my neck.

"Leonard, if you don't get to speaking!"

She said again. I sighed again and leaned against the wall.

"I mean, ion know. She caught Niyah laid up on me. We got into an argument because she started fighting Niyah while Laniyah was in her swing. So she left.."

She looked at me with pure disappointment.

"Leonard, when are you going to grow up?!"

I sighed and looked down.

"I understand you not wanting them to fight around the baby. But when are you going to grow up and start acting like a man? You're not a little boy anymore! You have a child now Leonard!"

I didn't even say anything because in all honesty, she was right.

"Have you spoken to her?"

I shook my head.

"I've tried but she won't answer me, or even give me the time of day."

"I don't even blame her."

"I think it's time for Laniyahs bottle."

I said changing the subject, since Laniyah
was starting to get fussy. I grabbed her and headed downstairs to make her a bottle. I set her down in her swing and headed to the kitchen. Then I grabbed everything needed to make her bottle.

"Alright babygirl l'm coming."

I said as Laniyah start her crying again.

"Man."

I mumbled sighing as she got louder. Then she started to calm down suddenly. I finished making her bottle and walked out the kitchen, seeing my mom was holding her. She took the bottle from me and started feeding her.

"Leonard I thought you planned to take Nika out the state for her birthday?"

My mom asked. I had booked us both tickets for Miami. She's always talking about how she wanted to go there.

"I do, I just don't know how I'm going to do that now."

Her birthday was in 2 weeks and I still haven't heard anything from her.

"Well, I hope you figure it out, and grow up while you're at it too."

I didn't say anything, I just watched as she began to burp Laniyah.

"Where is Niyah anyways?"

She asked.

"Ion know, out doing what Niyah be doing I guess. She said she wants Laniyah back this week though."

"Well she has the right to want her child."

"And I don't?"

"You got her didn't you?"

"Yea, for now. Until she's mad at me again and decides not to let me see her again."
