-Oliver-

I wake up to my phone ringing. I realize I'm still in the park. I scramble to pick up my phone, seeing its Ali.

"Hello?" I ask out of breath. "Uh hi..." she says shyly. Silence for a minute. "Uh do you want to meet up for lunch an talk?" I ask. "Oliver it's 9am" Ali says. "How about breakfast at the cafe?" I say.

My voice is so pleading. This girl has me chained to her I swear. "Sure I'll meet you in 20" she says and hangs up. I quickly drive home and shower because I smell like sex, alcohol, and piss.

I head to the cafe early because I can and wait. I order a doughnut and a black coffee and wait. When Ali walks in she looks around and takes a deep breath.

She orders herself a coffee at the front and then steps back and looks aroundm Finally she finds me and am expression I can't comprehend flashes across her face. Slowly she walks over and sits in front of me. "Hi" We say at the same time. She blushes and I chuckle lightly.

Quietly we sit there staring at each other. How do we start this conversation? "Well..." I start. But the waiter comes by and drops off Ali's coffee and gives us a smile.

"Would you like anything else?" She asks sweetly. I open my mouth to tell her to just leave but Ali beats me. "No thank you" she says with a smile. The waitress grins and walks away. "As I was saying" I grumble.

"Listen..." Ali huffs. My stomach drops. This is it. Ali is going to say that this isn't going to work. She can't just travel across the states after that amazing might I say night.

But no.

This is what she says: "Oliver I need to go on this roadtrip. It's means more to me now than ever. My parents are gone and everything is ready. Last night was... great. Okay it was fantastic" her eyes bright up and she blushes. But then her face falls. "But it cannot happen again" her eyes connect with mine.

"You need to take me on this trip. No sex, no kissing, no anything" Ali says sternly. "So if you'll still go... I'd like to continue on as if nothing happened". I sit for a moment and process this. So she's taking the "It was amazing but let's just forget it and pretend like nothing happened" route.

Apparently little miss stubborn gets impatient. "You'll still get the full amount" she promises. I nod slowly and sigh. "Yeah okay. Forget it happened" I say with a small, fake smile. "Like you've said before... we were simply drunk and the mood stuck us" she stands up with her empty cup.

"I'll pick you up at 9am tomorrow" and walks put, dumping her cup at the trash bin. I sigh and rub my temples. The disappointment I feel confuses me more than I can bare.

It's not like I wanted Ali to say something like "oh Oliver last night was the best! Let's travel through the states banging like bunnies" But I am not a man who lies. And I will not lie when I say Ali has me scrambling at her feet groveling for her affection.

I dump my cup and untouched doughnut in the garbage bin and head to my car.
