Nat's POV:
Something was up.
Y/n always replied to me.
Her messages were strange.
But she asked me not to tell the others that she was the teenager we had all been messaging.
What if she was in trouble?
Her messages were pretty fucked up to be honest...
I marched into Tony's lab and sat down in front of where he was working.
God, I hope she doesn't hate me for this.
"It's Y/n." I announced.
"What's Y/n?" He asked, not looking up from his work.
"The girl we've been messaging, she's Y/n and I think she's in trouble." I explained, quick and to the point.
Tony's head flicked up to me. "What? What do you mean she's in trouble?"
I handed him my phone with her last messages on it. "It's weird right? Her messages are never normally like that."
"Yeah, that's definitely not normal for her." He answered, taking my phone over to one of his computers. "I'm going to try and triangulate her location from these messages. Can you get her address off Peter so we can check it?"
I caught Tony's phone as he tossed it to me and sent a message to Pete, not telling him what was going on in case it was a false alarm.
"Yeah, the location of all her messages from the past week has been from an office building, not apartments."
"It's pretty far from the address that Peter just sent, should we go?" I asked.
"Try calling her first, if she doesn't pick up then I'm going out in my suit."
I nodded and sat down with the phone, watching it ring until it reached voicemail.
Shit.
"Try again." He instructed.
I called again, still nothing.
"Again."
The call got sent to voicemail for the third time.
"Tony..." I said, trying to conceal the worry in my voice.
"We're going. Grab your bike and follow me."
Tony chucked me a set of comms that I quickly put in and rushed off to the garage,
I followed him on my motorbike, dodging the cars on the road, taking shortcuts, all trying to keep up with Tony as he flew through the sky.
"Nat," I heard his voice crackle in my ear. "Nat, how far away are you?"
"I'll be at the location un two minutes? where are you?" I replied, narrowly missing a fairly nice Audi.
"I'm on the roof, but I need you to get up here ASAP." Tony sounded uncharacteristically stressed.
"Tony..." I mumbled, stopping my bike just outside a tall building and running around the side to the fire escape. Climbing over a couple of dumpsters to try to reach the ladder. "Tony, what's wrong?"
"Just get up here." He answered.
Once I reached the top of the stairs, I chucked a grappling hook from my belt over the top of the roof, and started to pull myself up but what I saw when I got there broke me.
I saw Tony's suit standing empty on one side of the roof and Tony's figure hunched over something in the corner.
"Tony?" I asked walking over to him, and spotting Y/n curled up in a ball. "Y/n?"
Tony looked up at me as I placed one hand on her forehead and used my other to take her pulse. She was pretty cold to the touch and her pulse was worryingly slow. Something was very wrong.
"Take her to the tower. Take her to the med rooms there and make sure she's alright. I'm going to get Peter." I instructed him.
