Peter's POV:

Shadow and I were both swinging around the city together. She used to use her own web shooter things, but they weren't as reliable as mine, so most of the time I held her and we both swung together.

There hadn't been a lot of crime today so we were sitting on our favorite rooftop again, looking at the stars and talking.

We talked about the most random things, she told me about this cat who would wait for her on a street corner every day as she walked back to her house, and about this little comic that she was doodling.

I got so caught up in her stories that I almost forgot to give her the suit that I had asked Mr Stark to make for her.

"Here..." I said, handing it over to her.

She unfolded the suit and looked at it, grinning from ear to ear.

She was captivated by the suit, it was black, with patches of gray at the sides and it little hidden pockets that made her eyes light up when she found them.

Her eyes...they were oddly familiar.

Her deep blue eyes with tiny flecks of yellow and white...

Oh my God.

Y/n was Shadow.

Shadow was Y/n...

It made sense, her height was the same. Her voice was the same. I had only ever seen her hair tied up as "Shadow" but it was the same color as Y/n's.

A thousand thoughts flew through my head all at once, Should I tell her I know? Then she would know that I'm Spiderman...

How did she hide when she got hurt from everyone at school? Nobody had noticed, not even me...

Maybe I should tell her, it might be a good idea.

On the other hand, she seemed a lot more comfortable talking to "Spiderman" than to anybody at school.

I decided not to.

She was happy not knowing who I was before, she didn't need to know now if it would keep her happy.

Yeah.

"Shit. Look at the time," I whisper-yelled.

"How late is it?" She asked, holding the suit close to her and making me smile.

"It's nearly 4 am and I need to be up early." I replied, hoping she would get the message and head home for at least an hour of sleep before school began.

"Oh yeah, me too, bye Spidey!" She yelled, running away.
