Chapter 1

Neveah's POV
Hi I'm Neveah,I'm 14 and I am brown-skinned,and I have long brown hair. I am the only child, my dad died from a car accident, so I only live with my mom.

Neveah's mom(Caroline): Wake up Neveah!! (She yelled from downstairs)

Me:I'm already up!! (I yelled back)

I was dressed in a black crop top that says 'Nerd' and high waisted shorts with converse, while my hair was in a messy bun.

I walked downstairs to the kitchen and the scent of pancakes hit me.

Caroline: Good morning

Me: Good morning (I said back)

I sat down at the table near the kitchen and my mom set down a plate of pancakes with syrup and a cup of orange juice in front of me and I started to dig in.

Caroline's POV
I need to tell her its now or never.

Me: Honey, we need to talk ( I sat down at the table with her)
