For You! [ Rui Kamishiro x F!Reader]

|Lunch Time|

[Y/N POV]

The school day went rather fast because before I knew it, it was already time for lunch. I had spent most of the classes passing notes to Mizuki and paying somewhat attention to the lessons being taught.

Mizuki headed towards the cafeteria since they forgot their lunch. I offered to go with them, but they denied and said that I should have lunch where the view is more beautiful. With that, Mizuki headed off to the cafeteria, while I figure out how to get to the roof.

'I should've asked Mizuki for directions' I sighed. Turing towards the right of the hallway I bumped into someone. I fell quite hard on my butt. I quickly stood up and bowed in apology. Suddenly, I felt a hand crease the top of my head.

"No need to apologize, Y/N-Chan~" I looked up, immediately recognizing the voice. I had bumped into Rui, who was staring at me with a smirk. "I'm sorry Rui" I said with an embarrassed smile. "It's quite alright Y/N-Chan" he replied. "Umm...Rui, you don't need to use formalities, just call me by my first name." I said. "I like Y/N-Chan more, it makes your name sound adorable, just like you." I became a little flustered at his compliment. "Umm...thanks for the compliment" Rui continued to smirk at me.

I regained my composure and looked at Rui "Rui, could you tell me how to get to the schools roof?" I asked. "I was just heading there myself, I'll show you the way."

[Rui POV]

"Thank you Rui" Y/N replied. "No problem" I said. We walked side by side as we headed towards the stairs. I actually wasn't heading to the roof, I was looking for Y/N so that we could have lunch together...

...and perhaps maybe even get some alone time.

We continued to walk as we talked about how our day has been so far. She mentioned that she made a new friend, although she didn't give details on this friend other that they were in her class. I could tell that this friend was very welcoming to her by the way her eyes lit up when she mentioned them. 'I'll have to figure out who they are' I thought.

We walked in silence when a thought came to my mind. 'I don't even know what class Y/N is in, I ask her.' Right when I was about to say what was on my mind, a loud shout attracted both our attention. By the look on Y/N's face, it seem clear that we both knew who made that loud noise. As expected, Tsukasa came running down the stairs and embraced Y/N in a tight hug.

"Y/N what a pleasant surprise to see you here! I was just about to go looking for you so that we both could enjoy our lunches together!" I frowned a bit at Tsukasa's statement. 'He just ruined my opportunity to be alone with Y/N' I sighed. Tsukasa seemed to notice how disappointed I was. He stopped hugging Y/N and asked, "Would you like to join us Rui?" I wanted to reject Tsukasa's offer, but that would mean leaving Y/N and Tsukasa alone.

At the corner of my eye, I noticed how Y/N smiled at the thought of all of us having our lunches together. 'How could I say no when Y/N is being all cute about me.' I sighed and smiled "I would love to join, Tsukasa-kun"

[Y/N POV]

As we made our way to the roof, I felt this tension between Rui and Tsukasa, it was almost suffocating.

'Should I say anything to ease the tension?'

'Why is there tension between them?'

'I think I might actually die from this tension'

Grabbing all my courage, I spoke "So, umm... Tsukasa, how has your umm... day been so far...Ehe..." That was probably the worst decision I've ever made. "My day was fine for the most part, but seeing you made my day so much better!" The tension thickened even more than before after Tsukasa's reply.

'I hope we make it to the roof quickly'

[Rui POV]

I could tell Y/N was uncomfortable, maybe she just needed some air. We walked up the stairs at and opened the roofs entrance. Tsukasa went over to where Nene was sitting. Nene was about to walk away from him until she saw Y/N and signed in defeat. Seems like she was going to put up with Tsukasa loudnesses for the sake of hanging out with Y/N.

I quickly noticed how Y/N had her back to me and was breathing heavily.

"Y/N-Chan, are you alright?" I asked a little worried.

"Yeah I'm fine, it was a little suffocating in the building. I'm glad to be outside and getting air!" She said with a smile on their face.

We both walked over to Nene and Tsukasa and sat down with them on one of the roofs benches.

And of course, Tsukasa sat next to Y/N, but I didn't waste time on sitting next to her. Nene looked annoyed that I beat her to sitting next to Y/N.

We all were eating and talking about how our day has been so far. Y/N's bento had a note attached to it, but she quickly put it in her bag, not letting me see what was written on it.

"Y/N, have you ta-"

"Shush, Yes I already did."

I saw how Y/N cut Tsukasa mid sentence.

'It sounded like Tsukasa was about to say something important.'

My suspicion was true. I saw how Y/N whispered something to Tsukasa's ear.

We all continued to eat and talk about the most random things.

But I wasn't going to ignore the fact that Y/N and Tsukasa were keeping secrets.
