His Believers

"But what about like...sex?" She took in a deep breath. She knew the sex talk was coming up but she hadn't had time to even think about giving it. Their parents were to busy with work and arguing to realize Alex was growing so much. She watched Jack just look at him before nodding. 

"I can tell you what I know but this is a talk you should have with your mom too. My number one thing is, there is nothing wrong with being a virgin no matter what. Do not have sex yet. It's your choice but in my opinion, you should wait till you're older." He watched Alex laugh at Jack's serious expression but he sobered up. She watched both boys sit on the bed as Jack gave him the best talk he could. 

She walked away, feeling the absolute best about Jack's talk towards Alex. She knew Jack would help her brother in the best way he can. She had only just met Aster Bunnymund but she knew he had probably given the best advice to Jack that could be found.

Kelly

"Something is wrong with me." Jack looked to the 10 year old girl in front of him that nearly tore the window off to open it. She was a believer from New York that had just got a win in her swim competition she wanted to tell him about. He was waiting for her to let him in but didn't expect it like this. 

"Why? What's wrong?" He walked through the messy room before he saw the newest medal and trophy. He turned to see her leaning against the wall with her hand over her mouth. She looked pale and sickly. Did she get hurt? He leaned against the desk, waiting for her to speak. He frowned at the sight of her tears.

"I'm bleeding. I think I started my period." Jack tensed. He watched her look to the floor in fear before he looked at the pictures next to him. There was no mother in Kelly's life. She had died from a car accident one year after her birth. He knew she had learned some things in school but no one had really sat with her, prepared her for this moment.

He could tell that this was the first time she mentioned it. He was sure that if she had told her father then she would already know more than she should. 

"Do you know what it means?" He wanted to make sure that Kelly knew what being on her period really meant in terms of her age.

"I know it means I'm on my period but I don't know what to do. I've never been shown all the things I need or like what I can take for the cramps. I don't know what to do. Dad's going to be stuck at work 'till really late since he missed yesterday for my competition. I don't want him to worry about me." 

Jack sighed before placing his chin on his fist. Now he knew what Bunny felt when he always dismissed his own problems for the sake of them. He stared at her while she stared right back at him. He didn't know much about periods, he knew the basics but nothing for helping her. 

"I'm going to get someone else to come here for you. We need a girl in this conversation." He walked to the window as he created a snowflake to go find Crystal. He knew that she opted to use human products during her own periods and she knew what could be taken to help the cramps. All he remembered from his mother and sister having periods was them using the cloth and the herbs. 

Jack sat with Kelly as he told her what he remembered Emma doing for her first period. He helped her lay down as he went to find the heating pad. He came back in time to see Crystal climbing in the window with April by her side. He raised his eyebrow at that, usually the two of them didn't hang out with each other alone.
