"No one wants to be friends with the Season that kills the most. Do us a favor and leave us all alone."

Manny watched as Jack laid on the ground with burns covering his arm. He tensed as Jack looked to him.

"Why do they do this? What am I doing wrong?"

But he didn't say a thing and watched as Jack picked himself up. He watched as Jack saved himself.

The First Attempt...

Manny held his head in his hands as he pressed his eyes hard. He had to watch as Jack gave up. He had watched as Jack tried to do something he'd never be able to do with his immortality. He had sent out for Sandy to do something. To send sand for him. To help in some way. He sent Sandy since for some reason none of the Seasonals accepted him.

He watched as a strand of dream sand slowly made it's way to Jack's crying form. It wrapped around his hand, making the boy jump before it made a sand rabbit right in front of him. He had figured out that rabbits and foxes were Jack's favorite animals. He watched Jack slowly pet the sand rabbit as it stayed with him.

"Why have you never told me about him, Manny? I can feel the magic." He winced as Sandy's angry voice. He was the only one who still heard the magical voice that was hidden due to his need to be silent as the Sandman.

"Because there is a plan for him. A plan that involves him being alone for a while." He watched Sandy stare up at him in rare anger.

"You mean a plan that you've put together for your own reasons. Your own agenda that will benefit you in the future when he is needed?" Manny stared at the image of Jack playing with the rabbit before responding to his old friend.

"He will be a reason that the world is saved in the future. He will benefit us all."

The Blizzard of '68

Manny groaned as Jack slept through his own nightmare, the snow building with his emotions. It was Easter and he was making it snow. He knew Aster would show soon.

"Jack Frost!" He watched Jack jump up in defense as Bunny ran up to him. He watched Bunny yell at the boy without even noticing the burns on his newest clothes he had taken from a thrift store sell out. He watched as Aster ignored the hopeless feeling surrounding the boy.

After Aster left, he watched Jack look up to him in anger.

"Fuck you for making me this way."

Manny bowed his head, reminding himself over and over that he was doing the right thing.

The Beginning

Manny watched as Jack made the ice path for Jamie Bennett to sled on. He smiled along with the boys before wincing when the sofa hit him.

"Aw, come on that wasn't the Tooth Fairy, it was me! What a guy got to do to get a little attention around here?" He watched Jamie walk through Jack before the snow fell. He turned to the Pole to see everyone gathering. It was time. He walked to the button that would release the symbol, showing the other Guardians who was the next to join them.

"Jack Frost?!" He smiled at Aster's shock.

Manny watched as the actions played out. His emotions ran wild from happiness to pure anger. He cried when Pitch took Sandy down. He bowed his head with the sound of the bells at the remembrance of Sandy. He watched as they tried their best to do Easter through the fear that was plaguing the world.

Manny watched as Jack went to throw his memories off the cliff. He stepped forward, prepared to intervene but Pitch showed up to quickly. He watched as Pitch tried his best to get Jack on his team. He watched as Jack fought his own mind before choosing right. He watched Jack sacrifice his staff for Baby Tooth. He watched as Jack found himself again through his memories.

He watched the fight. He watched how they won with the help of Jamie Bennett and his friends. He watched as Jack became believed in. He watched as Jack won the fight. He watched as Jack took his vow as an official Guardian.

He smiled as Jack encouraged Jamie to let him go.

"Do you stop believing in the moon when the sun comes up?" Manny smiled bigger as Jack left with the Guardians.

He watched as his plan played out perfectly.

Two Months After

What Manny didn't plan for was the other Guardians turning on him. Jack spoke to him more without hatred towards him, just speaking to him despite the fact he didn't answer. He didn't plan on North to ignore his light. He didn't plan for Tooth to never answer his questions. He didn't plan for Sandy to block his mental connection. He didn't plan for Aster Bunnymund to glare at him one night two months after the fight.

"You should've told us. I could've saved him from the hopelessness that covers him even now. I could've prevented the scars and the hurt you've caused him. I could've done something." Manny felt anger course through him. This wasn't just on him.

"You could've reached out to him. You knew he existed but you never went to him. This is not only on me-

"It is all on you!" Manny blinked at the anger through Bunny as the Pooka growled at him, his fur bristling towards him.

"When I spoke with Seraphina when I found out about him, she told me her Seasonals came to her saying they were friends with Jack. That Jack had people. But now I find out that was never true! Jack didn't have anyone but himself for 300 hundred years. You're telling me you watched a child be alone for that amount of time and you did nothing!"

Manny went to say something. He went to tell Aster the same thing he told Sandy all those years ago.

"Jack may have forgiven you but I haven't. North and Tooth may be close to speaking to you again but I won't. This is the last you'll hear from me for a long time. Don't try to speak to me. Don't look at me. Don't do anything with me."

He watched the Pooka turn away from him, taking a tunnel back to the Warren.

He could handle hate from Aster.

After all, Jack Frost hated him for 300 hundred years. He was to blame. He never thought of himself as a bad guy until now. But him beginning the bad saved everyone. Because Jack knowing how to be by himself and still survive was what won the war.

so what did we think of this chapter? It was just a spur of the moment type deal in all honesty as I watched the movie.
