his name is seokmin. lee seokmin. but, people preferred to call him dokyeom.
"YOU LOSE! NOW YOU MUST AGREE WITH THE
BET AHAHAHA!" dino, his bestfriend laughed after dokyeom lost to him at paper rock scissors game.
"you're very annoying." he replied.
"now, go and ask y/n to be your girlfriend. if you succeed to be in relationship with her for three months, then i'll give you 60$. deal?" dino continued.
"ugh, whatever." he said, rolling his eyes.
he then walked lazily to his class, observing what y/n was doing before he went to her place.
"y/n? can we talk?" he asked.
she was reading a new novel that she just bought yesterday when he talked. she quickly looked up to see him.
"sure. about what?"
"uhm, actually.. i.."
"i like you." he stated while scratching his nape.
her eyes widened. it's her crush who's talking to her.. who wouldn't?
"oh."
"r-really?" she asked.
he nodded. "yeah."
"i know this is a shocking news, so.. i'll give you some time to think about this." he said, as he faked a smile before he turned around to go out.
"no need, dokyeom."
"huh?" he stopped, feeling anxious.
"i like you too."

that's how their relationship started. y/n was actually so confused and shocked with dokyeom's confession cause they rarely talked to each other. also, she thought that why would someone as handsome and popular as him would like her?
never even once dokyeom's confession came across her mind. she knew she's just an ordinary quiet girl at her classroom which no one would mind her existence.
"hey, you're spacing out. focus on the movie silly," dokyeom disturbed her thoughts, with his head on her shoulder.
"oh, i'm sorry." she giggled.
including today, it has been two months since she started dating dokyeom. he's kind, and she can feel his honesty everytime they're together.
"dokyeom," she started.
"uhm?"
"thank you."
"thank you for what?"
"thank you for accepting me even though i'm not able to express how much i love you just like how you usually did to me. thank you for making me happy, thank you for staying by my side. thanks for everything." she stated.
"oh."
"of course, y/n. you're precious, you deserved that." he replied, patting her head.
then, they both continued watching the movie together.
while watching, dokyeom observed y/n's face with a sad eyes. his heart were stinging when y/n said those words to him.
'she's really in love with me, and next month i'll leave her.'
'am i doing the right thing?'
'i won't regret this, right?'
bad thoughts filled his mind as he caress her cheek. y/n turned her head to face him with a smile on her face.
without realising, he closed the gap between them.
and that's it. they're first kiss.
