It was early in the morning and you couldn't fall back to sleep so you decided to clean.

The morning snow filled the view outside the windows. It was quiet so you decided to play some morning music.

As the music played you cleaned less and less and started dancing more and more.

Soon you were just spinning to the music twirling around.

"Good morning." Matt's tired voice greeted.

You turned to see Matt standing in the door way.

"Good morning, Sunshine." You greeted back, before going back to dancing.

"What are you doing?" He asked walking over to you.

"Dancing." You smiled.

"Why." He chuckled.

"The earth is spinning. We can't just stand on it. Come on, dance with me." You giggled taking his hands in yours.

He took you in his arms as you both swayed to the music.

Matt quietly hummed to the song as your face was pressed into his shoulder.

"Y/n, can you promise me something." Matt said quietly.

"Depends on what it is." You swayed keeping the same tone.

"Can you promise me you'll always hold my hand when I'm scared?" He asked almost soundless.

"Of course." You stated simply.

Matt calmly took your hand in his.

A solemn feeling arose inside of you.

"What are you scared of?" You squeezed his hand.

"I'm scared if I let you go that you'll disappear." He admitted in almost a whisper.

"I'll always be here Matt, always." You kissed him. "You know why?"

"Why?"

"Because I'm yours." You whispered.

"Mine." He breathed.

And there you both danced together in the living room, in your socks, on the snowy morning in Hell's Kitchen.
