The fire raged around her, consuming everything in its path. She was alone as she fumbled around frantically, tears streaming down her face. Everything was turning to ash around her as the fire licked her skin, beckoning her into its warm embrace. She knew she would die some day. She never thought it would be like this. She never thought it would be by fire in the middle of the night that started while she was asleep. She always assumed it would be by the swift strike of a sword or by the claws of a monster. Her only exists we're blocked and to breakthrough the walls would make the whole ceiling collapse on her. She had no choice but to allow the flames consume her as voice called her name in the distance.
