Inside the Sycamore's Pokemon Research Lab
They've opened the door to the lab. "Hello!? Is Professor Sycamore here?" Ash asked anyone in the building
"Coming,"
They heard someone and they turn around to see a Professor with his lab coat, purple shirt, and black pants
"Are you the Professor?" Victor asked
"Huh?" The Professor sees the injured Froakie and ran up to it, "Froakie no!"
"Huh?" Ash was confused
"Do you know this Froakie professor?" Gloria asked
"I sure do," the Professor then turns around, "Sophie, come quick!" Before turning back to them, "We've been so worried about you," the Professor then picks up the Froakie, "Your trainer has been in recent contact with us,"
A female Professor then came to the Professor
"Froakie needs help," he then gives Froakie to the female Professor that's Sophie
"Right," she replied as she was carrying Froakie and goes back inside the lab
"Pika..."
"Thanks, Professor. We've been worried about Froakie too," Ash said
"So is Froakie's trainer coming here now?" Victor asked
"I'm afraid not. He contacted us to let us know that he wanted to give up Froakie," the Professor responded
They were surprised by the answer from the Professor
"Pika pika?"
Then, Clement finally arrived at the lab, exhausted by running all the way to the lab
"You're so slow!" Bonnie said to her big brother
"You really need to get some stamina if you are easily tired from running," Victor said
"I mean, he was carrying his and Ash's bag with him," Gloria said
"How was Froakie?" Clement asked

Inside the lab
Froakie is on the table getting healed. While the three are watching it behind the glass. Victor and Gloria are sitting on the couch
"Poor Froakie..." Ash said
"There's no need to worry about. Sophie is an absolute best at what she does," he said
"Great," Ash said
The Professor then sat down on the couch, "I'm Professor Sycamore, I'm a Pokemon researcher working here in Kalos," he introduced himself
They are all sitting on the couch. "Nice to meet you, my name's Ash and this is my partner Pikachu," Ash introduce himself
"Pika!"
"My name is Bonnie and this is my brother, Clement," she said
"It's truly an honour to meet you Professor Sycamore," Clement said
"What about you two?" Sycamore asked the two
"My name is Gloria, and this is Victor," she said
"It's nice to see the region's Professors," Victor said
"Hmm. Can you tell me more about yourself, Ash?" He asked
"Pikachu and I got here today from Pallet town in Kanto," Ash responded
