The DADA professor called out, apparently they were being assigned pairs for the last project before the final exams of the year. Kat was never a fan of being put into pairs or groups, she always believed working alone was much more efficient.
"Blair Avery and Katherine Vu!" The professor called once more, and unlike the past few times, this time Kat's head shot up. Her eyes quickly scanned the room before they nervously settled on Blair who was already looking at her.
Kat sat there for a while, her mind calculating all the outcomes of the situation, all of which she didn't like. It took her a few seconds to gather her courage and she stood up to make her way over to the blonde girl.
It wasn't long before the two girls stood a short distance away from each other. Kat wasn't sure about Blair, but she was absolutely terrified. Kat thought quickly of what to say but before she could even process the options in her mind Blair spoke up.
"We can meet up at the library after school," Blair informed.
Kat stared at her for a second before nodding, "Okay,"
Blair nodded back at her with an unreadable expression before she stood up, she collected her books and shoved them in her bag. Soon the blonde girl was making her way out of the classroom and into the crowded halls.
