After were saved from falling, we ended heading to a noodle shop, the person let go of MK's hand and we both slid across the ground. The person's suit disappeared, and it was a girl. She pulled out her phone and took a picture of herself
"Nailed it!"
"Mei!" MK said with relief
'So, her name is Mei, huh?' I thought to myself, and Mei lifted up MK
"That was an intense game of tag! You guys look like you're having so much fun, I wanted to join too!" Mei said excitedly
"Um... Actually, I almost died back there, and the new girl almost became a demon's bride" MK said
"But you didn't. So, let's celebrate with a round of Monkey Mech!" Mei pointed at an arcade machine with her name in the top score "You should invite your new edgy friend too" Then she saw me "Oh! You must be the new that MK was just talking about! You should play a round too!" I just nodded
"Yeah... He was trying to kill me and tried to take her" MK said
"Well in that case" Mei pulled out her phone and the screen showed a big red button with a dark look "Where does he live?" Mei asked, and before we could say anything, someone came out from the shop
"MK! Where are you, you punk!?" The pig demon yelled "You mind telling me why some bozo left a zero-star review on Pigsy's Noodles?!"
"Uh, yeah... So, uh... here's what happened with that-" Before MK could answer, Mei interrupted
"Woah, zero-stars! Congrats! That's better than nothing, right?" Mei said with a happy tone
'Zero-stars are good?' I thought to myself
"That's not how it works Mei!" The pig demon shouted, he turned to look at MK, but noticed he wasn't here
"Mr. Tang! Mr. Tang!" MK called out someone's name as he ran inside the shop
"Don't run away when I'm trying to scold you! Get back her-!" The curtains falls down
"Oh yeah, I didn't get your name" Mei said as she turned to look at me, the pig demon looked confused for a moment and realized I was here
"...Akira" I said, making Mei and the pig demon sweat drop
"You don't talk much do ya, kid" The pig demon
"I talk more if something catches my interest" I said "What is your name?"
"I'm Pigsy, and I own Pigsy's Noodles! Home of the Longest Noodle" The pig demon introduced himself as Pigsy
"And I'm Mei! It's really nice to meet you!" Mei said excitedly
After our short introduction, we entered the shop, the bowls fell on the floor, now broken
"Argh, kid! What are you doing to my kitchen?!" Pigsy shouted, he was about to charge at him when Mei and I held him back, MK was asking the man in glasses if he remembers the story about the Demon Bull King
"Yesssss? What about him?" He asked
"The Demon Bull King is back! The legend is real! The Monkey King staff is removed! We have to find him! It's the only way to save everyone before the world is destr-!" MK was cut off the glasses man's chopsticks
"Boy, relax. You're getting spit in my soup"
'Is that what he cares about?' I thought with a sweat drop
"Besides you're delusional. It's just a story" The glasses man said
"Delusional, huh? Would you call this delusional?" MK pulled out the staff from the cave and showed it to everyone, but they don't convinced
