their species prey on most humans that enter the woods and that are stupid enough to try to kill it or mistaken it for a normal plant and step on it ,their species  are commonly used as interrogation tools to find out if their suspect is telling the truth or not and if they were lying the killer trapper would bite a chunk out of em until they admit to their crimes and some are too stubborn and become food to the killer trapper,they especially like to eat unicorns or royalty and would sometimes become prey to way bigger creatures,a human tried eating a dead one of them once and died imedietly of poisoning because it's a poisonous plant like creature,they use a hypnotic smell to attract people towards it ,their species start off as normal looking venus flytraps as babies,
