Chapter Six: Diagon Alley

With that, Harry ended up going back to bed and sleeping until lunch. While the twins went back to planning some of their pranks for the year but not going overboard since they didn't know which house they would end up being in. Finally Charlie ended up grabbing the diary before Harry could pass out and doing the initial precautionary steps. Not only that he decided that he would look for a similar book while they were out at Diagon alley the next day.

Harry and the twins were also going to the Quidditch world cup in a few days. Charlie had already told Arthur that he was in England and had also been invited along. Apparently Harry was meeting the Weasleys in Diagon Alley so it would be fine if Harry didn't go back to the Dursleys.

They decided with this final trip to Diagon Alley before the Quidditch World Cup that they would try out having Harry under his glamour to hide his creature inheritance. It was their last chance to make sure Harry was ready to have it on 24/7. They had also already talked about how they would act around the Weasley's, so they decided to try to act as they had, before they had found everything out.

"So grab Harry's books and then go to Madam Malkins?" Fred asks.

"Yes, since you guys don't need anything else on your school lists." Charlie hums as they walk in Flourish and Blotts.

"Fuck thats-" Harry mumbled.

"Why're they here?" Fred groaned.

"We can still sneak back out-" George added.

What had happened were the Weasleys were in Flourish and Blotts. They were able to get back out of the store before they were spotted. The group breathed a sigh of relief.

"So I guess there's a change in plans then." Harry says unamused.

"Why'd they have to be here?" Fred grumbled.

"Who knows, at least we still have one other place we are gonna go." George hummed.

With that the group of four headed a bit further down Diagon Alley towards their other destination since they weren't about to go back home just because of the family of redheads, they were still going to do their shopping and just hope they won't get found. They had ended up having a rather nice day out, only seeing the Weasley family a few more times throughout that time.

"Mhmm shall we head off?" Harry asked finally as they walked to the portkey area and where the floo's were.

It was at that moment a loud shout pulled the four's attention away from heading home as they turned to see Molly Weasley and her brood coming straight to them, staring right at them.

"You boys are in trouble! You hear me! How could you have not told us you would be here!" Molly shouted, pissed. They had to think quickly.

"Oh uh hi Mrs. Weasley, I didn't even know you were here today." Harry said timidly.

"Oh Harry darling, you're not in trouble, just these idiots." Molly said.

"Wha- but we didn't know you'd be here either!" George tried.

"Yeah!" Fred agreed.

"I've been staying at the leaky cauldron, and ran into Harry there." Charlie explained.

Molly let out a heavy sigh and massaged her forehead, stressed. The four looked between each other hoping that they had gotten away with their lies. Ron ran up to Harry and started talking the raven's ear off, bragging and boasting over whatever it was he was talking about. Harry looked to his brothers for help but there was nothing they could do.

"Fred, George, do you two still have stuff over at Lee's?" Arthur finally asked, looking at the boys.

"Yes sir." Both boys say cheekily.

"Okay you two can stay with him tonight but be back home tomorrow. Charlie, can you look after Harry tonight at the leaky cauldron and bring him back to the Burrow tomorrow?" Arthur said, turning to 'his' second oldest.

"No problem. He's safe in my hands." Charlie hums.

"See darling, it's all sorted and they'll be home tomorrow." Arthur said, turning to his wife hoping it would calm her down.

It worked, to the relief of everyone who had been worried about the matriarch of the Weasley family blowing up at everyone. Both twins sent prayers up to the sky to thank whichever god had saved them. None of the Weasley's noticed this. Arthur's too worried about Molly, Molly's still calming down, Ginny's too busy oogling Harry, and Ron's too busy talking Harry's head off.

With that the Weasleys set off leaving the four brothers behind. They all let out a long suffering sigh of relief at that. They decided to finish up their trip and then head back home to spend one last night being themselves before they had to put up an act.
