Scaramouche's POV

"What nonsense are you talking about?!"

 What lover?!

 "Are you two not-"

 "Of course not!"

What the hell is he thinking?!

"I must have read the situation wrongly then."

 Of course, you have!

"Where the hell did the idea even come from?"

Oh, how I would regret asking this question...

"I saw how both of you were continuously throwing glances at each other during our meal. That, as well as Kazuha defending you so strongly..."

"I was not throwing him glances."

 "But you clearly-"

 "No."

Never happened. I don't want to hear it.

Just as I was about to say something,  a knock came from the door.

 "Excuse me for a moment."

He returned after a few minutes, wearing a very troubled expression.

"It seems I have some urgent business to attend to."

 "Should I care?"

"Please tell Childe to come to Mt. Aocang after he's done fighting with Kazuha."

After he left, I had absolutely nothing to do.

 Sigh.

 What a bother.

 Childe's POV

 "Could I borrow a sword?"

"You want to fight me when you don't even have a sword?"

 "I broke it."

 Hah!

"Innermost left corner. You should be able to find one that suits you there."

I wasn't surprised when he returned with a katana in hand, after all, most people in Inazuma use one.

What did surprise me, however, was the way he held it.

"You know that a katana is a two-handed sword, right?"

"I'm aware. Now make your move."

Well someone is in a bad mood.

 "Since you asked so nicely..."

I attacked, hydro blades forming in my hands in an instant.

He deflected it quite easily, throwing me a confused look.

 "That's it?"

 Oh, this little-

My delusion activated, infusing hydro with electro, but still, my attacks were deflected just as easily.

He is faster than me. That much was obvious.

 And very skilled as well.

He must have a very good teacher.

But not only his sword skills.

His use of anemo was the most skillful I had seen by far.

The fight was fun, yet relaxing at the same time.
