I nodded softly. "I understand."

"Be happy and free, Vivienne."

"You, too, my Keischa."

She smiled and kissed me on the cheek before holding her luggage tightly, preparing herself to leave. Pero bago siya umalis, lumingon siya ulit kay Liam at pinagtaasan ito ng kilay kaya medyo natawa ako.

"Take care of Vivienne, Engineer Acosta, because if not, you'll see your worst nightmare!"

Liam, behind me, chuckled. "You don't have to worry about that."

Keischa nodded and glanced at me before she smirked. "And don't be lost again, she might cry again."

"Keischa!" I blurted out when I heard Liam laugh.

She smiled wickedly before waving and walking away. How silly!

"Give me a call when you landed!" I shouted but she just raised her hand in the air, trying not to look back. "Have a safe flight!"

Nanatili akong inihinahatid siya ng tingin hanggang sa mawala siya sa paningin ko. I breathed in deeply before I whispered a silent prayer for her safe flight. When I'm done, hinarap ko si Liam na nakatingin sa akin na para bang kanina pa niya ako pinanonood.

"Tara na?" tanong niya kaya kaagad akong tumango.

He lifted a smile as he snaked his hands on my back. I thought he would grab me by my waist but he respectfully touched my elbow to guide me in the oceans of people coming on our way. Bale we look like we're walking as if his hand is on my waist but it's really not because he's touching me by my elbow.

It might look weird but while we were walking, I couldn't deny how wild the butterflies are in my stomach. Not the evil butterflies ha. The pretty and good ones.

"Saan mo gustong—"

"Liam!"

Hindi natapos ang pagsasalita ni Liam nang may tumawag siya. Ilang beses kaming nagpalinga-linga bago natagpuan ng mga mata namin ang naglalakad na si Francine papalapit sa amin.

My lips parted while looking at her, especially nang makalapit na siya sa amin. She looks so pretty!

Mas tumangkad siya, mas naging mature ang itsura niya, mas naging glowy at fresh 'yung skin niya, at mas naging blooming siya. She actually looked like a different person compared to the Francine I met before. Mukha siyang artista!

"Hi!" She smiled at Liam. Then she glanced at me. I saw how her eyes widened the moment our eyes met so I chuckled.

"Hi."

"Oh my god, Vivienne, you look so pretty gorgeous! Your hair looks good on you!" she said, complimenting my short hair.

"Thanks." I smiled. "You are, too."

She also lifted a smile and was about to say something again but had to stop because we were both astounded when Liam grabbed me by my waist. May dumaan kasing grupo ng mga tao na hindi siguro ako nakita kaya muntik na akong mahagip. But because Liam was fast to see them, bahagya lang akong natamaan sa balikat.

"Are you okay?" he worriedly asked.

I nodded. "I'm fine."

"Did it hurt?" he asked again, referring to my shoulder.

I shook my head. "I'm fine, really."

"You sure?" he asked again so I had to bite my inside cheeks before I got to nod again.

"She's fine nga, lover boy," Francine teased.

When we both look at her, she's crossing her arms while rasing her brow. Nang sulyapan ko si Liam, kaagad na namula ang mga tainga niya para bang nahiya siya bigla. I chuckled.
