"No! You don't have to look dressed up, but you will put in a little effort! Now step aside and show me what's stalled inside of that closet..." Ten minutes later, the clothes that Sasha had sorted out for her mother lay out on the bed and both of them were getting ready to go downstairs.

"Why is it so important to you how I look tonight, Sas? What are you up to?" Laughing, Sasha turned to carefully walk down the stairs.

"I just want you to look nice, mom! You might run into a nice man... Because... well let's face it... it's not going to be you and Birgg..." A stab of pain went through Nora's heart hearing her daughter's comment, but Sasha was right... she had to move on.

After they had dinner together, Sasha braided her mother's hair and did her makeup, something Nora hadn't worn in years. When her daughter finished and Nora looked at herself in the mirror, she hardly recognized herself. In front of her in the mirror she saw a nice, tough, sexy woman, everything she didn't consider herself to be. The tight black jeans showed off her shapely legs and the oversized ACDC shirt had been expertly torn open by Sasha in the neckline, causing the collar to drop continuously over her shoulders, making the strap of her wine red bra clearly visible. Sasha had tied a knot at the bottom, revealing Nora's slender figure, but not too exaggerated.

"You look nice, Mom! Just the way you are, but with a little more spice!" Nora turned to her daughter and wrapped her arms around the young woman.

"You're a stunner sweetheart! I love you! But wouldn't you go home and lie down in bed? The evening is still long..." Planting a big kiss on her mother's cheek, she let go of Nora and turned to the stairs.

"I was going to! Ri'kil is now on duty and as soon as he's done he'll come home and we'll get ready to come to the party. I definitely don't want to miss the fireworks they've planned! I have a I've seen a few tests and it looks like it's going to be very spectacular!"

The sun was already fading as Nora slowly made her way to her mother's and Vsar's house. Nora had also apologized to old Tároc and soon noticed how different the man was from what she had realized, in fact none of her preconceptions about the Shri'Traccal had turned out to be true. Vsar was indeed a big tough man, probably also dangerous, but the old leader had such a great sense of humor that soon Nora could have done nothing but close the man in her heart, with his scales, tail horns and all... She understood that her mother had fallen head over heels for King Crocodile.

"YO! Are you home?!" The house was so terribly quiet that Nora realized she had made a mistake with the time, but as she turned around she heard a door above open.

In one of Vsar's oversized shirts and a bright red on her cheeks, her mother came down the stairs alone. "Is it that late already?! Let's get dressed quickly, go inside, just give me second to put something on!"

Shaking her head and grinning broadly, Nora went to the kitchen and poured herself a glass of water and sat down at the table. You didn't have to be a genius to figure out what those two had been up to. Suddenly she heard a scream followed by a rumbling hum.

Nora couldn't resist and walked quickly into the hallway. "ARE YOU TWO READY YET?! VSAR GET OFF MY MOTHER!!!"

There was silence for a moment, then a booming laugh came from above, followed by a giggle from her mother. Grinning at her own joke, Nora walked back into the kitchen. Five minutes later the couple came downstairs, her mother still had a deep red color on her cheeks and Vsar's grin spoke volumes. "I wasn't on your mother...! She was on top of me!" Nora hadn't expected her mother's face to discolor any more, but hearing her partner's words Ellen almost turned purple with embarrassment and Nora howled with laughter.

"VSAR!!!" Ellen couldn't say more, Vsar had pressed his mouth to his lover's to catch her words.

"I'm going to the stronghold, I'll see you by the water in an hour or so." He said after kissing Ellen extensively and gave Nora a wink. "Oh, Nora, will you make sure my eyseah puts on that pretty green dress of hers?"

Nora gave him a broad grin and nodded. Of course she would see to it that her mother would look beautifull tonight.

It was already pitch dark as Ellen and Nora were walking toward the lake where the dancing was about to start, music was already coming their way. The whole day had been filled with several festivities, from a bazaar, to fighting contest, and from a barbecue to live music. And now as Allience Day finally came to an end, there was music and dancing at the lake site with a firework show later that night.

Something had been wrong for the past hour, but Birgg wasn't sure what it was until he finally realized he hadn't received a single message for over an hour.

He quickly walked to the main control room where he found Vsar talking to the men who would take over the security service for the next five hours.

"Vsar? Nice to see you, but what are you doing here?" He watched in amazement as his predecessor, with the duty roster in his bionic claws, walked past the men and women on duty and assigned them the positions.

With a big grin, old Tároc turned to his successor. "I'm dividing the tasks and before you start sputtering my dear Taroc, tonight I'll take your job once more so you can enjoy the dance. I've attended enough festivities today, now it's your turn to relax for a few hours. For the past few months you have been busy finding your footing as the new leader of the Azury clan, something you do very well, but I know from experience it is also tough.

So with this said, get your ass to your sleeping quarters, freshen up, change clothes and we'll meet at the main entrance in, let's say, half an hour." Completely stunned, Birgg turned and left the control room.

On the one hand Birgg felt sidelined by the old leader, on the other he was happy at the prospect of not carrying all responsible for a few hours.

The hot shower felt good on his tired mind and body, and after he dried himself and got dressed, Birgg looked at himself in the mirror. He felt as if he had aged several decades over the past few months, and he took a good look at his face for the first time since taking over from Vsar.

The skin on his forehead and around his cheeks was already hardening, a sign that he had not only accepted Tároc's job for form, but actually felt Tároc in his whole being, the 'Tároc's crown' as cornification was also called, was already in full swing. As soon as a Shri'Traccal male was put in charge of a clan, a chemical process took place in the males body, changing the appearance of the man in such a way that it was clear to everyone at a glance that there was a leader in their midst, a physical process dating back to when speech and writing were not yet used.

He ran the tip of his index finger over the hard cornificated tip that had appeared in the center of his forehead. What would Nora think of the change of his face, would she like it or be discussed by it? Birgg shook his head at his own thoughts. Why was he thinking about Nora again... He would speak to her after the party, now was not the time!

Vsar was already waiting for him and togehter the walked to were the music came from, the party was already in full swing when both men finally arrived.
