Pumpkin carving (Multiple Ships) (Fluff) (Halloween special)

"I'm an...independent man..." he said sounded like he was super pissed at the pumpkin. He was trying desperately to movie his knife in a circle motion around the pumpkin's stem, but it was pretty stuck. "Babe, lemmie help ya before ya hurt yourself or something.." Luke said as he turned to Zander. He took the knife and after a bit of jiggling it around, he got it unstuck and finished cutting the pumpkin open

Meanwhile, Milly was making fast work at her pumpkin. She had gotten a large bowl from Hailey from the kitchen, and after cutting her pumpkin open, she was scooping grabbing all the guts out of it and placing them in the bowl. She wasn't even attempting to get some seeds out of it, she just kept going and going

"Jeez, Milly!" Jake said as he looked over "you're like a pumpkin carving machine!"

"Damn right, I am!" Milly laughed. "At least try to get some seeds out of it!" Hailey said, looking wide eyed at the other girl's bowl of orange sludge

Everyone was soon done cutting open and clearing out their pumpkins, so now came the actual carving.

"NO ONE throw this stuff out!" Milly said motioning to the bowl of guts and seeds next to her. "Don't even take the seeds out! I need all of it!"

Everyone agreed to that, as they all decided what to put in their pumpkins. They had some packs of sharpies with them to draw their design first

"You guys cut a pumpkin with Bethany?" Jake asked as he looked from Hailey to Zander. "Yep!" Hailey said "We actually got a mini white pumpkin to go along with the big orange one! We painted that one to look like an eyeball, then carved a huge hole in the big orange one. One thing became another, and now we have an eyeball pumpkin!"

That's so cool!" Jake said. "Yeah!" Luke agreed.

"What about you Jake?" Hailey asked "You and your little brother carve a pumpkin?"

"Well, kind of" Jake said "we more...coloured ours."

"Oh?"

"We got a bunch of my brothers old crayons that he doesn't use anymore, and we used a hair dryer to melt the wax down the pumpkin in a rainbow" Jake smiled. "Woah, that sounds so cool!" Daisy said in awe. "Dude, you HAVE to send us photos later!" Sean added on

"My mom asked me after if I wanted to get another pumpkin possibly, to actually carve. But I was fine with the waxed one. It's pretty, and I enjoyed spending the time with my brother!"

Milly turned to Elliot, who was starting to draw his design on his pumpkin. "You alright there, Elliot..?" she asked "you're awfully quiet"

"Huh?"

Elliot turned to his girlfriend. "O-Oh! Yes, I'm okay! Sorry, I'm just super focused.."

Milly smiled a bit. "I would hug you but uh..." she said. Her voice trailed of a bit as she looked at her orange goo covered hand. "Heh, yeah same" Elliot smiled

Jake turned to Hailey. "How's yours going, princess?" He asked. Hailey looked up from drawing her design. "Oh, it's going" Hailey responded "I didn't expect a pumpkin to be so slippery to draw on"

"Mines done!" Daisy smiled. Everyone looked up. "What??" Zander said "how??"

"Just speedy, I guess" Daisy said. She turned her pumpkin for everyone to see. She had carved a simple happy face into her pumpkin. "It's cute!" Hailey smiled. Luke nodded in agreement. "Thank you!" Daisy smiled back

Milly suddenly started grabbing pumpkin guts from her bowl next to her, and putting them back into the pumpkin. This caught Sean's eye

"I think I know what you're doing" he said smirking. "Well if ya do, don't say anything! I wanna surprise you guys!" Milly said, not looking up from her creation. "My lips are sealed on the matter" Sean said, doing a zip motion over his mouth

"I..think mine's done?" Luke said. He took a step back, and and eyed his pumpkin. He'd cut out a heart shape in the pumpkin, then using the cut out part he made an L, Z, and + sign. Then used toothpicks to stick them in the pumpkin so the finished product was a heart that had L+Z in it

"Aww, that's cute!" Elliot said. Zander hugged Luke, putting his head on his shoulder

"Can you help me with mine, Luke..?" he asked. "Sure!" Luke nodded "What are you carving in it?"

"A piano.."

Milly looked up, stopping her creating for a split second. "Zander, you can't carve a whole grand piano into your pumpkin." she said jokingly. Jake laughed. "Yeah, I don't even think it'd be big enough for that!" he added on

"Oh, shut up, you smart allics." Zander said as Luke started to figure out how to piece together the piano carving "It's the piano EMOJI. You know, the one that's three white keys and two black ones."

"Yeah, we're aware" Jake smiled.

"HA!! DONE!!"

Milly's sudden and loud outburst made everyone else jump a bit. Thankfully they were either designing, planning, or finished their pumpkins. "Jeez, Milly....!!" Luke said "not while I'm about to cut with a knife....!!"

"Heh, sorry.." Milly said. Elliot and Sean looked over at her pumpkin. Milly had cut two holes for eyes and a big hole for a mouth in her pumpkin. She had cut two little dots for pupils, stuck them on toothpicks, then stuck those in the eye holes. All the guts she had gathered up, she had put in the pumpkin and positioned them so they were spilling out of the mouth to look like puke. "Heh, called it!" Sean smiled as Elliot's eyes went wide. Everyone else went over to look. "I should've expected something like this from you, Milly" Zander said. Milly rocked the pumpkin back and forth a bit while making a "Bleeeuughh!!!" noise

Everyone was soon done their pumpkins, and they all started to clean up. "Do I have anything in my hair or on my outfit?" Daisy asked as she twirled around in front of Sean. "You look perfect!" Sean smiled, to which Daisy blushed a bit as she thanked him

"What do we do now, guys?" Hailey asked as she leaned against the sink counter after washing her hands. Jake shrugged as he finished his. "I dunno. Maybe just the movies?" he suggested "the first ones almost done, but we could start getting set up for the second."

Everyone agreed that that sounded like a good idea. Once they all were cleaned up, they started up the popcorn machine then went to get settled in the living room, setting up several blankets and pillows. Once the popcorn and drinks were ready, everyone picked their spots. Hailey sat next to Jake and leaned her head on his shoulder. He smiled at her as he put his arm around her, and leaned his head gently against hers

"Hey, look! It's Drew!" Milly said as she pointed to the werewolf on the screen. Zander, who was holding onto Luke's arm, started laughing along with Milly

And so the night carried on, all eight teens enjoying their films and spending time together
