he side-eyed you.

you smile innocently.

"so! where are we going?"

he doesn't answer.

"i don't speak english" he deadpans.

you smile blankly, "cool! let's go there, then" you grin.

after a long while of walking you both reach an estate.

"oh-oh! taking the lady home on the first night? i didn't know you were like that, giyuu!" you grin cheekily.

he stares at you.

"you're not allowed inside"

"oh, i can come in? great!"

he walked inside and you followed.

however you didn't make one foot in the front door before it slammed in your face and made you fall right back with a yelp.

you rub your nose, frowning.

"hey! that wasn't nice!"

you try and open the door only to find it was locked.

you pout.

"heyyy! lemme inn!" you whine, pulling on the door.

"lemme innnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!"

the door pulls open and you faceplant on the ground, "oomph!"

"get out"

he nudges you with his foot just out of the boundary of the door so he could slam it shut again.

your jaw drops.

"well, fuck you! i bet the mugen train mission is starting soon, so i'm outta here, bitch!!"

you storm away.

giyuu, who was still at the door, frowned.

did she say mugen train? isn't that the mission rengoku is headed on?

back to you, you stomp your feet and kick rocks angrily all the way back to.. wait a second. you don't have anywhere to stay!

"GRAHH!" you kick a tree before jumping up and down, whining that your toes hurt.

"well, you did just kick a tree"

you jump out of your skin, screaming and facing the voice that decided to scare the shit out of you.

your eyes widen, "bitch wtf"

pale purple eyes deadpan, white hair tussling in the wind.

"you're that idiotic kid that the master brought in"

you frown at sanemi, "ex-squeeze-me? i'm not a kid!  i'm 17!"

he deadpans,

that's what she picks up on? fucking idiot

you perk up suddenly, "hey! since you can speak english and all and shinobu said there wasn't enough beds in the butterfly estate for me-"

"she what?!" he burst out in laughter and you deadpan.

"you think that's fuckin' funny?!"

"oh, i do. cause last time i checked, she had more spare beds than she has had in a while!"

you pause, "what?"

"i think she just kicked you out cause she doesn't want you there" he snorts.

you frown slightly,

you knew it was silly, but you were genuinely upset. had you really been that annoying that she didn't even want you to stay at the estate?

or was it tanjiro, zenistu and inosuke that maybe told her they don't want you to stay with them?

you shake your head, feeling a pain throbbing in your chest but plastered on your usual act and dropped to your knees, clasping your hands together in a pleading motion.

"please, please, PLEASE! let me stay at your estate! i got nowhere to live!"

"no"

"you'd really let a homeless child stay out on the streets like this?!"

"you just said you're not a kid!!!"

"shanice, your mouth is, eh.."

his eye twitches, "fuck did you just say to me?"

"guh. pleeeaasseee let me stay at your placee!" you whine.
