"Yung mga binibigay mong pera kina mama, hindi nila ginastos. Tinabi nila yun lahat para din ibalik sayo. Pinag-usapan namin to nitong nakaraang linggo and... we all agreed that we wanna help you this time Rix... you've sacrificed a lot for all of us... and... and think of this as... as our way to give all those goodness back."
"Hindi naman kailangan..."
"Pero gusto namin. At kagaya ng kagustuhan mong maprotektahan kami noon, gusto naming mapagaan naman yung sitwasyon mo ngayon" I was left speechless about everything she said na nagsalita na lang din siya ulit
"So please? Accept this gift from us? Hmm?"
Imbis na sumagot lumapit at yumakap ako sa kanya... with my tears on the verge of falling pero nang tapikin niya ko sa likod pumatak na ng kusa yung luha ko
"You deserve everything Rix... baby andito kami. Hmm??"

Hinigpitan ko lang lalo ang yakap ko sa kanya because I can't find the right words to say
"Sabi ko naman sayo gagawin ko lahat di ba? Simula pa lang to, Rix. Simula pa lang to"
"How? I mean saan? Uhm kelan??"
"Haha relax. I scheduled you for the fitting this Wednesday dun pa din natin malalaman yung next steps"
"Okay okay uhm..."
"Are you happy?? Excited? Haha"
"I feel elated. God thank you so much"
"That's good to hear" sambit niya habang nakangiti saken
"Kelan ka pa nga pala ulit bumalik?" Tanong ko dito
"Kanina lang... dumirecho na ko dito sa work mo because I wanna see what you're doing"
"Ahh..."
"Not to offend you or anything but Rix?"
"Hmm?"
"Are you... happy? With your work? Hindi sa hindi ako nagagandahan sa trabaho mo but I know I remember that your dream was to become the best engineer in the Philippines... di ba?"
"Well... yeah. That was before... but I guess God has another purpose for me. Wag ka mag-alala. Masaya ako dun sa resto. And maybe someday, if it's his will... I can still pursue that field. Sa ngayon kung ano na lang munang kaya dun na muna ako"
"I feel so proud of how much you've grown as a man, Rix..." sambit niya holding both my hands tight pero natigil ang pag-uusap namin when a white guy called her name out
