"Hahaha mga bulok!" Narinig niya ang boses ni Rix mula sa malayo kaya napatingala agad siya finding him and she saw him with his friends.
Hindi niya alam ang sasabihin pero tumayo siya at lumapit kay Rix.
"Rix!" Pagtawag niya dito pero hindi ito lumilingon
"Rix teka lang!" Sambit niya holding his arm this time.
"Oh Mich?" Rix said blankly. Making something hurt within Mich. The cheerful greeting that he always does with her... it's gone.
"Rix... c-can we talk?"
"Tsaka na Mich. Mag-aaral ka pa di ba?"
"B-but..."
"Sige na. I gotta go"
"Rix... please" sambit ng dalaga holding on to him biting her lips frustrated
Narinig niyang huminga ng malalim ang kaibigan bago humarap sa kanya
"Ano ba yun?"
"S-sorry..." panimula ni Mich
"I... I trust you Rix... I really do... wag mo naman ako iwasan ng ganito Rix..." nakayukong sambit ni Mich as she plays with her nails. Ni hindi niya namalayang naiiyak na siya sa bawat salitang nababanggit niya
"Iniiwasan lang naman kita kasi sagabal lang ako sayo"
"No! No. You're not. I swear. Rix..." Mich told him as tears started to fall down her face
"Oh for goodness sake why are you crying?!" Tarantang sambit ng binata dito
"Y-you're... you're drifting away... I... I'm sorry. I'm sorry" sambit ni Mich as she fully covers her face as she cries in front of him
The moment he saw tears, his walls fell down. His goal was not to guilt trip her but to give her the time and space to focus on her exams. Para sa scholarship niya, but now he's confused that she's crying in front of him
"Mich... stop crying, fck it" sambit ni Rix wiping her tears and cursing himself for making her cry
"Rix... I'm sorry... I didn't mean it I promise..."
"Stop that. Tsk. I know. Bakit ka ba umiiyak ha? Drifting away? Me? I'm not drifting away okay?"
"You are... iniiwasan mo ko..."
Rix sighed, "umiiwas ako kasi ayoko maistorbo pag-aaral mo. I know how important this exam is for you and my attitude will always bother you when studying. Ayoko makasira ng pangarap mo okay?"
"Wag... please..."
"Huh?"
"Stay beside me... please..."
"Mich..."
"I want my friend beside me please"
"Yeah friend lol" sambit ni Rix sa utak niya
"Tsk. Tahan na nga ano ba yan?" He shook his own emotions off and calmed her down.
"Sorry..."
"Forgiven. Nag-aral ka na ba? Ha?"
"No..."
"Woah. That's not good let's go" sambit ni Rix pulling her towards the library to accompany her studying
"My feelings can wait I guess" sambit ni Rix as he stares at the girl he adores
