That's it I couldn't hold it anymore as I bust out laughing.

"It's just me and you Christy" Amber turned to me with a smile.

I immediately stopped laughing and thought of a way to distract Amber "So you want to be an investigator?"

I was honestly curious because she didn't seem like the type she seem more like the fashion type of person.

Amber paused at my unexpected question, she slowly smiled as she stood up "Yeah I want to be one" she answered as she waited for me to follow her.

"Why, if you don't mind me asking?" I was curious because of her reaction but if she do want to talk about it I didn't mind.

"No it's fine" she paused "My father was an American investigator that worked with the FBI, he was one of the best if not the best in his field of work." She said as we made our way out of the lunch hall.

"He had solved a lot of cases during his time" she sucked in a breath "He was finally tasked with solving the multiple deaths of people around a certain area, he found out that the killer's were part of a very powerful group of people and when he was close to solving the case he-he" she paused choking in a sob.

"Amber you don't have-" she cut me off.

"No-no I want to" she caught her breath "He was shot dead and all of his files disappeared" Amber said a fire I didn't even know she had appeared in her eyes" And I want revenge for his death" she finished with anger.

"Amber..." we arrived at my next class.

"It's fine Christy I just need time to think" she gave me a smile. I nodded in understanding as I gave her a hug which she gladly accepted.

I watched her leave as I took a breath before entering the class. I nodded at the teacher as I immediately took a sit. Of course there were people watching me but I chose to ignore it as I was still worried about Amber yet despite what she said I was jealous.

Jealous of the fire in her eyes and knowing what she wanted to be despite it not being for ethical reasons. And yet she could still smile and care about other people.

I was jealous, worried about her and now confused on what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

It was finally the last lesson which was fortunately free but it was the period I had to choose which club I was to join and after looking at the long list I knew which club that would both make me happy and enjoy it.

I matched my way to the club's room which was in a whole different block since clubrooms ,classrooms and sports rooms, are separated, as I looked at the gold label on the door that read THE COMPETITIVE SAILING CLUB.

I took a slow breath as I knocked at the door. Ilya had thoroughly explained all the clubs to me and showed me their advert videos and I fell in love with competitive sailing. And according to Ilya and Lysander it improves mental skills and wellness as well as communication skills they said more but I was busy rewatching the sailing video for the 15th time.

The door was opened by an Asian girl, she was two inches taller then me, had long shiny hair and her lips were in a frown. She looked very beautiful and intimidating.

"Kuáilè de how can I help you" she asked blocking me from looking through the club room.

"Hi-Hi my name is Chrisanna and I would like to join the club" I asked hopefully.

She raised her eyebrow her arms crossed. I noticed she wasn't wearing any jerseys just a blue blazer.

"Alright" she moved so that I could enter. When I looked up I noticed that there were 7 other boys, one Hispanic I had guessed because I heard him speaking Spanish to the boy sitting next to him pretty fast but then again I could be wrong and the other two were black, two boys biracial and the rest where white.

I gave them a soft smile as I entered.

"This is Chrisanna, Chrisanna these are the members of our Junior sailor team, as you don't know we were having a meeting but since you're here you might as well join" Kuáilè de said from behind me which scared me if I'm being honest.

The rest of the members greeted me as they continued with their meeting after it was done Kuáilè de told me to stay.

"Here are some books to read through about sailing, also you won't immediately start competing you'll have to go through training plus as you've heard the season already started, anymore questions?" She finished while she continued adding more books on my hands.

"N-No" was my reply.

"Also sailing for us isn't just a spot it's a way of life for us and if you plan on ruining that for us I will make you wish you were never born capiche" she looked at me.

"Yes" I said as my eyes wondered once more at the trophy case that had medals and trophies since 1823. This not only confirmed how old this school it also provide that club's were taken very seriously.

As I prepared to live I couldn't help but notice a few pictures of Kuáilè de holding a trophy with a huge smile on her face, I couldn't help but imagine myself in that same position a year later.

I made my way outside and immediately spotted the Toyota land cruiser. As soon as I arrived next to car the shurffe opened the door for me.

"Young missus your brothers will be remaining for practice" the chauffeur said as he closed the door for me.

After entering the car I thanked him for telling me "It is my job young missus" was all he said as he continued on driving.

Before I knew it the manor, that is where I live came in view. As we circled around the fountain I saw Leonid standing outside...he was wearing a batman hoodie.

Why do I feel like he's wearing it for Nikolai I thought as the car came to stop. Leonid was the one to open the door for me.

"So how was your first day" he asked taking my bag from me.

"It was good" I said raising one of my eyebrows in confused why he was asking.

"Come on that isn't a good enough answer" he said dramatically.

By now we had already entered the castle/house and he gave my bag to one of the passing staff.

"C-can you at least let me change before bombarding me with questions?" I asked in a tired voice.

He paused to turn to me. Did I do something I wasn't supposed to do. He looked at my eyes, not in an intimidating way, but in a way that showed he was searching for something. He seemed to have found it because he gently smiled at me and nodded at himself.

Weirdo.

"Sure" he said making his way to what I assumed to be the library. I also turned to for my room "Oh and Sasha will be joining us for dinner today, I'll send for you or call you myself when he arrives" he told me as he continued to the direction of the library.

Me on the other hand had paused in the middle of the stair case. I hadn't seen Aleksandr since the day I arrived and this would be the second time I meet him.

I don't know how I got into my room but I did. I still couldn't forget that Aleksandr would be joining us for dinner. That man scares me, I shivered remembering his lifeless eyes. Wait... could I have been in trouble and don't remember what I did to get in that trouble.

Knock knock.

"Young missus, your brothers have returned" Doren one of the staff said before living.

So quick I couldn't help but look at the time 19:07pm.How long had I been distracted.

I took a deep breath and shakily made my way downstairs.
