I was gonna be late for classes. I scrambled out of bed and went to the bathroom really quick. When I came out I noticed my roommate Monica was up.

"Good morning." I said as I ran to my closet to pick out a quick outfit.

"So, you had one of those dreams again?" Monica asked. I grabbed a blue and white striped shirt from the first hanger I saw.

"Yeah." I sighed. "Was I talking in my sleep again?" I searched my closet for a pair of skinny jeans to wear with my shirt.

"Yep." She replied popping the 'P'.

"What did I say, anything new by chance?" I asked already knowing what the answer would be.

"Nope, you said the same thing as usual, 'doctor who?'"

I nodded. "That's what I thought."

I brought my clothes into the bathroom so I could change and came out to do my makeup. Normally, I would just go without it when I was running this late but I never washed off my makeup last night so it'd look bad if I didn't at least touch it up.

"You know I actually remembered it this time." I said has I redid my mascara.

"You're kidding." Monica said sounding flabbergasted.

"Nope." I said laughing.

"Well, what happened?! I'm dying to know what 'Doctor Who' means." She said leaning against the couch and gesturing for me to continue.

I began to comb out my waves but they were a frizzy mess so I grabbed a hair tie and decided to put them up in a ponytail.

I described the dream to her as I laced up my combat boots.

"And he wrote a phone number on my arm and walked away into his little box, and I said 'wait! Who are you?' And he said 'the doctor' and that's when I said 'doctor who'. the whole dream felt so real too." I said finishing the story.

I was waiting for her reaction to finally knowing about the dreams I've been having almost every night. Her face was pale.

"What?" I asked standing up.

"H-he wrote a telephone number on your arm?" She stuttered.

"Yeah?" I asked confused.

"Have you looked at your left arm?" She said slowly trying not to freak out.

What? I slowly lifted up my left arm, slightly scared of what I might see.

I know it's physically impossible, but I swear my heart stopped. There on my arm, was a phone number. How did I not notice that? I guess it was cause I was rushing.

"I must've done it in my sleep." I offered.

"How?!" Monica said throwing her hands up. "Your handwriting is barely legible when your eyes are open!"

Ouch.

"I dunno." I shrugged in denial. "I'm sure there's a logical explanation to this."

Monica shook her head.

"I used to think you were mad, that you needed an actual doctor, but now I'm not so sure. Maybe this is all real." She said getting excited.

"Don't be ridiculous." I said grabbing my denim jacket and slipping it on.

"You should call the number!" She insisted.

"Not right now, I'm running late."

She frowned.

"Can you hand me my wallet? I'm gonna stop and get coffee."

She tossed it to me and laughed.

"So you're running late, but you're gonna get coffee?" She asked.

"Yep." I said shrugging.

"You're so American." she teased.

"Monica, I've been living in London for over 5 years now."

"You'll always be American to me." she teased.

I shook my head as I went out the door. Our apartment, or "flat" was on the fifth floor and our elevator had been out of order since we moved here.

I ran down the stairs like I had many times before and into my car in the parking lot. But I realized I had 30 minutes still until class when I pulled onto campus.

I began to walk to class slowly as I tossed my empty cup of coffee into a nearby trash can.

Someone  jumped up from behind me and covered my eyes. I jumped at first feeling spooked, but I realized what it was soon after.

"Guess who." they said in a comedically high voice.

I knew who it was, but I decided I wanted to tease them.

"Monica?" I asked in the most innocent voice possible.

"I'm offended, I truly am." he quipped taking his hands off my eyes.

"I was just kidding." I said giggling.

"I know." he said giving me a peck on the cheek.

"So what are you doing here, Justin?" I asked.

"Just wondering round a bit. I didn't expect to see you though, I thought your class started a half hour ago."

"Crap!" I shouted running.

"Bye!" He chuckled shaking his head at me. God, I was such and idiot. For some reason I was thinking that my class didn't start until 1:00. It started 20 minutes ago to be precise because it was 12:50.

I was running full speed when I saw a familiar box. Was that the box from my dream? I stopped dead in my tracks. What was a few more minutes late?

I noticed that the box had a phone, so I figured maybe I could call it? It was worth a shot. I pulled out my phone and looked at my arm when I noticed something.

The number was 867-53o9, just like from that 80's song. I laughed at how stupid this whole thing was turning out to be. This had to be some sorta joke, or loopy thing I did in my sleep.

But the thing was, even though I doubted this whole thing being anything but a stupid dream, I wanted it to be more.

I sighed knowing I was being dumb, but I typed the number into my phone. Nothing. That's what I thought. I was about to go to class, when I decided to try one more thing.

I ran up and tried calling the number using the boxes phone. Nothing. The phone didn't even work. I was putting the phone back when the door opened on me.

"Ow!" Then I remembered how that man came out of the box in my dream.

I heard a male voice behind me.

"Oops, so sorry. That phone is out of order.."

I spun around hoping so hard for it to be him. It was. I grinned.

"Doctor!!" I said a little too loud.

He looked confused, did he not recognize me?

"What?" He said. That pretty much summed things up.

A/N: first chapter!!! This would be like the first part to an "episode" the music would start after the prologue and this would happen before a commercial or something. Hope you guys enjoy. I really don't do moffat justice though.
