Chapter 2

Cross's POV

I cant believe i just gotten kicked out of the castle so i went to the stars' base. I went inside and was greeted by a small yellowish puppy. "Heya, Starlight" i said, petting their small fluffy head.  "Cross...arent you supposed to be at the castle?" Dream's voice asked. "Heh, i gotten kicked out, Dreamy" i said.  "Wait...what do you mean "kicked out" Cross!?" Dream panicked. "Do you need a place to stay!? I'll let you stay here as long as you need, Cross!" Dream added.
"Dreamy, calm down. Imma stay here with ya" i said as i hugged Dream and he hugged me back, tightly. Starlight barks and trotted towards me, tail wagging causing me pick her up.  "Does my brother know you came here?" Dream asked. "I had to tell him i loved you, Dreamy....so...Boss knows about our relationship" i told him. Dream froze "he...does?" He asked as i nodded. Ink came up, holding a new puppy with paint marking on it "Dream? What is Cross doing here?" He asked, glaring at me. "He's staying with us, Ink. Nightmare kicked him out" Dream said as i nodded. ".....i dont trust him around the pups" Ink said. "Dont worry, Boss has pups at the castle. One actually. Named Midnight" i said. "Doesnt mean you'll still do something to the pups, Cross" Ink said, glaring at me. "Ink! I trust Cross and he's been around Starlight most of her life!" Dream yelled. "Actually, im the one who bought Starlight for Dream, you soulless freak!" I snapped, getting pissed off. "Crossy...calm down..please" Dream's voice said. I calmed down and walked off to Dream's bedroom to calm down.

Starlight's POV

I followed Cross into Dream's bedroom and hopped onto the bed and tilted my head towards him and whimpered. "Dont worry, it has nothing to do with you, girl. You're okay" Cross said petting my head. I nudged him, wanting in his lap. Cross smiled and put me in his lap. "You snd Midnight are the exact same age you know that?" He said. Wait...im the same age as Midnight? As in Nightmare's puppy? This is something i didnt know but i could care less. Im part of the Stars'. I dont need to be thinking about the Bad Sans' but Cross is here and he WAS with them before Nightmare kicked him out so im guessing he counts as a star now...im not sure. I know about Dream and Cross's relationship because im mainly with the two when they go out like to Dream's favorite spot...which asko happens to be Nightmare's favorite spot as well but Nightmare's never there when me, Dream and Cross shows up. We either beat Nightmare to it or come after Nightmare leaves the spot. Dream never really said the name of the spot so i dont know what the spot is called. Dream came into the room and Cross sorta just took a nap...still petting me and now hugging me in his sleep. "Oh, Cross is sleeping. I'll let him sleep and its your lunch time, Star" Dream said, smiling. Good luck on getting me outta Cross's hold i thought. Dream easily replaced me with a stuffy...MY stuffy. The stuffy I sleep with during the nights. I started to pout, not liking that Dream replaced me with MY stuffy. "Heh, you're sleeping toy will be safe. I promise girl" Dream said. Yeah but its MY stuffy! The stuffy i sleep with, Dream! I dont like others hugging up all on my stuffy! I thought. It sucks not being able to talk but hey! I can still get there attention when i need to, though...Swap is hard to his attention but i always manage it. I gotten sleepy so i decided to take a nap for a bit.
