Chapter 45⚠️

Pearl slowly opened her eyes again when she heard the water making a fuss. "AAAHH! WHAT THE HELL, VENUS!" Her soul almost left her body when she saw Venus sitting with her inside of the tub, completely naked. Pearl almost jolted to her feet, but Venus grabbed her arm, pulling her back down.

When did she even enter the bathroom that Pearl didn't even notice her? What a sly snake! Pearl will surely not accept this kind of behavior from her!

"You were taking so long in the bathroom, so I decided to just join you." Venus said in a flat tone, although her face showed mischievousness. She probably just wanted to see Pearl's bare body, and was making up an excuse for it.

"You're insane! Couldn't you just wait? I was about to get out of the bathroom." Pearl complained as she tried to gaze to another direction. She was not as shameless as Venus who was currently staring into her soul with those lustful eyes. Even if Pearl was curious to look at Venus' naked body too, she still wouldn't dare!

"It didn't seem like you were done because when I came in you were almost falling asleep." Venus teased.

"I was not falling asleep! I was just praying." Pearl corrected her as she felt her face heating up. She splashed some water to her cheeks to cool them down since she knew that they were blushing brightly. This was so embarrassing!

"Whatever you say, little kitty." Venus picked up a glass filled with red wine from the ground and placed the glass on the tip of her lips to take a sip. She had brought this wine with her to drink it while she enjoys her bath. Bringing wine to the bathroom seemed to be one of her 'things' now.

Pearl rubbed her eyes and took a quick glimpse to the glass against Venus' lips before staring back down to the water. It was difficult to fight back the temptation of not staring somewhere else. She knew that Venus must really have a beautiful body. Not only her face is attractive, but even her figure.

That smooth pale skin of hers, and those cherry lips. That blonde hair up in a bun. Let's not forget about those penetrating emerald eyes that could devour anyone who stares into them. Being dominated by a woman like Venus would definitely be a dream come true.

Wait!

What the hell!

What in the world are you even thinking Pearl? Why is she having these kinds of thoughts now? Get yourself together, Pearl! Don't fall for the devil's charms! She will bite you if you get distracted! She will kill you!!!

That was definitely not a lesbian panic...

"You know Pearl, I don't know what it is about you but I really enjoy your company." Venus took another sip from her wine before placing the glass back down on the floor." Even if you have to die in my hands later, I'll make sure to make you remember me for the remaining time that you have left on earth."

Pearl felt her heart stopping for a second as she heard these words. She had almost forgotten that her fate was to die, but will Venus truly kill her? Or was she just threatening her?

Until this point, Venus has shown no signs of wanting to end Pearl's life. She was only punishing and torturing her earlier, but that's basically it. Could she really kill her? Anything was possible when it came to Venus. She is an unpredictable person and Pearl still needed to be on guard just in case anything were to happen.

"Why aren't you looking at me? Am I that bad of a person to you that you can't even look at me anymore?" Venus asked abruptly as she leaned closer to Pearl. Their knees were brushing against each other as the water agitated from the sudden movement.

Pearl lifted her gaze, locking eyes with hers. She stayed quiet, gulping down slowly hoping for it not to be loud for Venus to hear. Her heart was pounding rapidly as she tried to figure out what she could answer to that. She didn't know what the devil was planning to do this time and she needed to be careful with her own words.
