Well, what do you want me to say?" I fold my hands to make sure he understands I was not in the mood to talk.

"Uh I missed you too would be just fine" he looked nervous now.

"No"

"Please"

"Nope nada"

"Pretty please" he gave me the puppy eye.

I narrowed my eyes at him "fine I did"

"I did what?" He smirked.

"Don't push it" I rolled my eyes.

"Can I ask you something?" I nod. "Is it that time of the month?" He turned pink.

"Yeah" I whispered lowly.

"Ah, that explains it. How about we go have breakfast after this is done?"

"Okay" I avoid his gaze.

"Hey! Look at me" I look up. "It's okay. You're fine. There is nothing to feel uncomfortable about. This is natural, even my sis and mum go through this so I know how painful it is. You don't have to worry about apologizing after snapping cause I completely understand. Just warn me beforehand next time ya?"

"Next time?" I asked confused.

"Yeah so when my wife gets snappy at me out of nowhere at least I'll know the reason" he winks.

My eyes widen and my cheeks turn tomato. Oops, I mean red. "Wife? Next time? What are you talking about?"

He rubs his neck. A nervous action of his that I'm very well aware of. "I spoke to your parents and they said you agreed to my proposal" I nod.

"Yes. I did Istikhara and got a positive response"

He smiled widely. "That's my girl. I did Istikhara too and Alhumdulillah positive response. So since you said yes I thought why not marry fast...I mean at least I wouldn't have to stay away from you anymore" he looked anywhere but at me.

I kept looking at him thinking if he was serious about it. All I saw was sincerity and I knew he wasn't joking.

"Okay" I nod.

"Okay?" He looked flabbergasted.

"Okay" I nod again.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah. Are you?" I raise an eyebrow challenging him.

"Wow I mean- I didn't expect this wow I'm speechless" he looked around and then back at me. "Alright let's talk about the date later. We should go in our best friends need us"

"Yeah"

"Repeat after me" the imam said to both Nina and Aiden.

"Ash-hadu an la ilaha ill Allah"

"Ash-hadu an la ilaha ill Allah" together they both repeat after the iman.

(Translation: I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah.)

"Wa ash-hadu ana Muhammad ar-rasullallah."

"Wa ash-hadu ana Muhammad ar-rasullallah." Again together they both repeat after the iman.

(Translation: And I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.)

"Mabrook my brother and sister you both are now Muslims. May Allah SWT guide us all"

"Ameen"

Nina turned to me with tears in her eyes. Honestly, I couldn't stop my tears too. We gave each other a big hug.

"Assalamu Alaikum sis, I'm so proud of you. You are so brave and I admire you for everything" I whisper in her ear. "I love you sister"

She cries but I could tell they were happy tears "Walaikum Assalam, I'm proud of you too. Thank you for being my best friend and sister"

I smile at her and turn to Aiden. He and Ahmed were in a long hug. Finally after what seems like forever they let go of each other.

"Assalamu Alaikum brother. Mabrook"

"Walaikum Assalam, thanks sis" he gave a wobbly smile. I return it with a big smile.

Honestly, words aren't enough for me to describe this amazing feeling when your nonbeliever's best friends or friends turn believers. It's a blessing to see them turn into beautiful souls.

May Allah SWT guide us all. Ameen.
May Allah SWT protect us from shaytan. Ameen.
