Who were his parents? Why did they leave him? Who even was he supposed to be? He only wanted to know of his origins.

(Y/n) leaned against a tree, watching over the construction in front of her. It was unstable. On the verge of breaking, this would either help or ruin her plan.

"(Y/n)!" She turned around to see the child running up to her, jumping to attack. She caught him in her arms, the boy giving a small pout. "I was trying to scare you."

(Y/n) tilted her head, putting down the child. "Well, firstly, you should have kept silent, your yell gave you away, you should also learn how to step quietly."

He huffed before grinning widely. "What do you think about my treehouse?" She looked at the structure, then back at the boy. "If you were to build any higher, it would collapse, maybe have them build smaller house trees." She advised. "Treehouses. But yeah, that's a cool idea!"

He extended his hand out towards the structure, imagining what it could look like. "It could work, I'll go tell the General your idea, wait for me here." Running off to find the serpent, (Y/n) stood still.

"What a joke, the child can't even make a ssssimple command without you." Skales mocked, (Y/n) turning his way. "How pathetic it musssst be for the father to have raised such a poor leader." The girl scoffed, glaring at the second in command. "You are so critical, yet, here you are following the orders from that same child you mock, with a leader under his control." She hissed.

Skales glared at her, his tail rattling. "He won't be leader for much longer, unlessss you go back on your word, after all, you humans tend to break what you promisse."

(Y/n) sighed, waving a hand. "Speaking of, do you still have the earth ninja under your control?" She questioned, Skales response with a short nod before leaving.

"(Y/N)!" The girl flinched, turning to see the boy with the Sword of Flames. "I went to tell the General about your idea and saw the Serpentine playing with my sword!" He complained with a frown.

She stepped slightly back, not wanting to get hit by the sword. "Oh, just keep it on you for the time being, if they take it from you, let me know."

The child's eyes glowed with excitement. "Could you teach me how to use it." (Y/n) pressed her lips together, trying to think of a way out of this. "Please! You said you were here to serve me, doesn't that mean you're supposed to listen to me?"

She let out a sigh, her hand glowing to form a wooden stick. "Alright, but you should start with a fake weapon."

The group were all seated around the table, waiting for Zane to arrive with the food. "I love it when it's Zane's turn to cook!" Jay exclaims. "Well, I didn't hear any complaints with my food." Cole proudly said. "That's because it glued our mouths shut, you think Jay would have been quiet for even a second?" Kai asked, getting a glare from the blue ninja.

Zane walked out wearing a flowery pink apron. "Dinner is served." Zane happily set down the plates of food. His smile slowly faltered as they all burst out laughing. He became confused, not understanding. "What is so funny?"

"Zane, you're wearing a– Even I wouldn't wear that." Nya laughed, holding onto her stomach. The white ninja thought about it for a bit, trying to understand. "You laugh at the measures I take to be clean?" "We laugh because you came out wearing that ridiculous outfit." Kai chuckled. "We have different senses in humor."
