I turned around, furrowing my eyebrows, an uneasy expression on my face.
"I couldn't sleep," I admitted, mumbling. "So I thought I'd work on my next novel."
"Seriously?!" Bruce roared. "So you and your pathetic novels are more important than me getting my sleep?"
"I didn't say that!" I denied.
Bruce rattled his fists angrily, his blood roaring to the surface. Causing my own blood to run cold, because I had no idea what was about to happen next.
"Come on, baby," I mumbled. "You were in a good mood yesterday. Let's not ruin it."
Bruce rolled his eyes, before he climbed out of the bed, and stormed away from the bedroom in a state of rage.
"Bruce, wait!" I called out desperately, running after him.
