Chapter Twenty-Two

When they landed Jace said goodbye and flew off again as they made their way home.

When they entered the house they saw Luca on the couch

"Hey, Guys so how was the honeymoon?" Luca asked his brother and his sister in law

"Great. Are the twins asleep?" Gio asked

"Nope they should be home any minute if not their grounded," Luca said

"We're going to go lay down. We'll see you guys at breakfast," Gio said and dragged Luna to their new bedroom.

They took a quick shower and after Luna was cleaned up she went into the bedroom and grabbed one of Gio's shirts before she laid down on the bed and rubbed her hand on her belly

The twins came running in just as Gio came out of the bathroom

"Sorry we didn't knock," Ares said as Blake jumped on the bed and looked at Luna with a huge smile

"What do you two want?" Gio asked

"Well you see there is this girl in the gang we help a lot and we want her to be ours," Blake said

"Meaning?" Luna asked and Blake pinched her cheek as Ares said, "We'd like for her to move in here and you know be ours,"

"You mean, kidnap the poor girl?" Gio said

"Well yeah. She'll fall in love with us eventually and she and Luna will be great friends since they're almost the same age," Blake said

"She's 17 isn't she?" Gio asked

"Yeah but look her father abuses her and her mother is a bitch to her. She needs a safe place," Ares said

Gio looked at Luna and she smiled at him and said, "They're saving a girl from her family. I would like a friend her as well since I won't be going to school anytime soon,"

"Why won't you be going to school anytime soon?" the twins asked

"It's nothing. Give me some time to think it over I'll give you an answer at the end of this week," Gio said

"Thanks, big brother. Goodnight little sister," They said and left.

The next morning when Luna woke up she got dressed and went downstairs to see her father, uncle, grandfather, cousin, and brothers

"Papa," She yelled and ran straight into his arms

"Hey my love," He said as he wrapped his arms around her

"How were your month and a few weeks?" Her grandfather asked

"Amazing. We did a lot of sightseeing," She answered

"We also got a great gift for you for your wedding," Gio said smiling

He winked at Luna and she smiled knowing what he was thinking.

"I heard you'll be coming to school with me and Ares and Blake," Lucas said

"Nope, she's doing homeschooling. With the treats your father has received I'm not taking the chance," Gio said

"What treats?" everyone asked

"I haven't told them yet. You and Mason we're the only ones who knew," Alessio assi

"What treats brother?" Marcellus asked

"Someone send a few treats. Threatening Luna and Hailey's life. Dad and I've been handling it but it looks like it's someone from inside working for someone on the outside," Mason said

"That's why I'm being extra careful today and until we find this guy and the people he works for," Gio said

"Oh," They said and they looked at the door when a maid came into the living room

"Sorry to interrupt but Miss Hailey is here with Mrs Rodriguez," the maid said

"Dad out," Oliver said and Grandpa took Alessio to the kitchen

"What's wrong?" They asked as Hailey came in

"Mike is sick and he can't walk me down the aisle," She said

"Okay calm down I'm sure Mason and Hayden would love to walk you down the aisle," Luna said and let her sit down

"Her make-up is ruined," Elliott said

"I can fix it don't worry what do you need to do more?" Luna asked

"Well I need a drink to stop my stress but don't want to be drunk," She said

"Oliver, can you go get me a glass of water with a drop of Tabasco in it?" Luna asked and he did it while he did it she started on Hailey's makeup

"Here just a sip. Now take a deep breath in and... Out. I'm done with your makeup. You look amazing and you have nothing to be nervous about. You and dad were a match made in heaven," Luna said and added, "We're grateful to have you as a mother,"

Hailey was close to tears but laughed when Luna playfully glared at her and said, "You will not ruin my masterpiece so you can't cry,"

After Hailey and Alessio said I do to each other they all partied but that was quickly drawn short when Gianna's family came

"Ronald, Kelvin," Alessio said shaking their hands

"Where is my granddaughter?" Ronald asked

"Luna," Mason said stopping her and Gio

When they turned to them Gio smirked and Luna looked lost

"Luna dear this is your mother's father Ronald and her brother Kelvin," Alessio said

"Oh goodbye then," Luna said and wanted to leave but Gio wrapped his arms around her waist and shook his head telling het no.

"I'm Nolan and this is my twin Noel were 27," He said and tried to shake Luna's hand but Gio pulled Luna a bit back

"It would be best if you leave," Hailey said

"I just wanted to greet my niece. You can chill we won't do anything," Kelvin said

"Just leave," Alessio's dad said

"Fine then. We'll see each other soon, Luna," Ronald said

"Can I get everyone's attention please," We heard Alessio's mother Ida say

When we turned to her she was on the stage with a gift in her hand

"We're are doing gift," Ida said and everyone made way for the bride and groom.

After they opened the gifts and loved all of them they all turned to Gio and Luna.

Luna handed a small box to her father and smiled

"What's this?" Alessio asked and once they opened it Hailey gasped and Alessio looked pissed but happy

"What is it?" Everyone asked

"Luna is pregnant!" Hailey said and hugged Luna tightly while Luna's family and Gio's brothers glared at Gio

"This is by far the best present," Hailey said excitedly

"Yeah congressional baby girl," Alessio said and hugged Luna

After a while they said goodbye as the lovely newlyweds left.
