This quote was in a Wattpad book, and I can't help but think about it often. This quote is. It's amazing.
He's suicidal, depressed, hates his life, puts the pain on others.
I can't let his story become mine.
I can't let my experience with him turn me into him.
Don't let his story become yours. That, and a semicolon, will be my first tattoo.
It will show the battles I've fought, and am still fighting, and will stand as a reminder to not let my experiences turn me into something I will fear.
I'll add a dedication to the author of the book once I remember the title.
