Yes, he never hurt me.
Yes, it was Emotional.
What many people don't know, is emotional abuse often is a a gateway to physical abuse.
He never hurt me. But if I hadn't gotten away when I did, he would have. He had started threatening me, and he'd yell so loudly, he'd clench his fists, then he'd come back to himself seconds before he struck.
Never once did he apologize. But, I didn't really expect an apology after the way I hurt him.
