THE GROUP of five now sat under Skull Rock-- or the Upside down version of it, with Val clutching on tight to her girlfriend's hand as Nancy, Eddie and Steve were to their side. The bats fly over Skull Rock, losing the group of five who all let out sighs of relief. "That was close." Robin says, all of them slowly getting up. "Yeah. Too close." Eddie says and then turned to Steve who staggers to the side.

"Steve?" He said right away making Valerie look over quickly. "I'm fine. I'm fine." He says as Val lets go of Robin to go to his side, "no, you're losing a lot of blood." She said worriedly and brought him over to the rock where Eddie kneeled down with her as Steve gently slides down. "Nancy, can you rip off that part of your shirt? I would with mine, but it's far too pretty and it was originally Robin's." She glanced up and the Wheeler girl rolls her eyes but smiles faintly before tearing off a part of her shirt, tossing it over to Valerie.

"Okay. So the good news is I'm pretty sure wooziness is not a common symptoms of rabies. But, um, if you start having hallucinations or muscle spasms or if you start feeling really aggressive, like you wanna punch me, then you should totally let me know, okay." Robin says as Eddie slowly got up, then walked backwards, before turning around quickly and Val watched him with a quirked up eyebrow. "Robin." Steve says as Val glanced between them. "Yeah?" The blonde replied.

"I kinda wanna punch you." He says and Val giggles which Robin joins in on. "Sense of humour's still intact. That's a good sign." Robin says when Val notices Eddie was about to start climbing the other rock nearby. She softly shook her head before reaching out. "Alright, let me see the damage." She pushed Steve's hands out of the way to see the blood oozing out of his wounds making her grimace. "I've started to really hate blood..." She says and Steve sighs. "Tell me about it." He says.

"Okay, I'm sorry." She says as she pressed the fabric to the front of his body and he lifted off from where he was leaning so she could wrap the fabric around his waist. She brings the ends to the front where she ties them together. "Is that okay?" She asked as she looks up at Steve who nods. "Thanks for always taking care of me, V." He says and smiled faintly.

"Even you, Robin, all you do is go on and on but it helps distract from the pain." He says and Robin chuckles softly before getting up. Val follows so she can help Robin with getting Steve up. "We're like your moms!" Val says, grinning up at the man who looks up.

Steve chuckled, wrapping his arm around them both as they walk with him forward and Eddie turns around where Nancy was standing and watching him worriedly. "So, uh, this place is like Hawkins, but with monsters and nasty shit?" He asked and Steve insists he's fine as he pulls his arms away from the couple. "Pretty much." Val nods, sending a small smile to Eddie who was about to head down the rock. "Wait, watch out for the vines." Nancy steps forward. "It's all a hive mind." She explains.

"It's all a what now?" Eddie stood completely still, looking around. "All the shit you see, the vines and shit. They're, like, one, or something." Val shrugs and Robin glanced over at her. "Slash Henry." She says. "You're getting ahead. The author's just now catching up to speed with this book." Val points at her.

"What Val is saying is you step on a vine, you're stepping on a bat, you're stepping on Vecna." Steve interrupted whatever was going on. "Shit." Eddie says and Val sighs. "So everything from our world is still here, right? Except people, obviously?" Robin glanced around as she spoke and Valerie just nods.

"As far as we understand it, yeah." Nancy answers as she looks at her. "So theoretically, we could go to the police station, and steal guns and grenades and whatever we need to blow up those bat things that are guarding the gate." She says and Valerie scrunched up her face. "Yeah, you've got a point but you really think Hawkins PD has grenades?" She asks.

"Well, we don't have to go all the way downtown for guns." The Wheeler says and Valerie quickly glanced over at her. She's heard of the stories, Steve saying she had a gun back in '82, she also had one in '83 that Hopper gave her at the Byers home where Val just stared at her with amazement and last summer in '85, she wielded a gun at the mall for a precaution against flayed Billy.

"I have guns in my bedroom." She says and Valerie nods as Eddie jumps down. "You, Nancy Wheeler, have guns, plural, in your bedroom?" He asked as he stared at her with shock. "Full of surprises, isn't she?" Robin asked, impresses as Val smiles wider. "A Russian Makarov and a revolver." She says as if it were nothing and daily possessions anyone would have. "Yeah, you almost shot me with that one." Steve looks at her and she looks at him. "You almost deserved it." She says, smiling a bit as Val glanced between them.

She did not want to be in the middle of whatever this was, but still, stepped a bit forward so they weren't looking at eachother just as Eddie throws his denim vest at Steve who quickly looks at him. "For your modesty, dude." He says and Val holds in her laugh as the ground started rumbling and shaking. Steve caught onto both Val and Robin, leaning against the rock as Nancy held onto a nearby tree and Eddie literally fell on the ground.

Valerie held onto both Steve and Robin tightly, before the earthquake stopped. "You okay?" She brushed past Steve, grabbing her girlfriend's arms. "Yeah," she says quietly as Steve looks at them before pulling on Eddie's vest and walking around them. "Come on." He stopped by Eddie, holding out his hand as Valerie watched them, smiling faintly before Nancy leads the way.

Eddie and Steve followed after him, the Harrington holding the flashlight as Robin and Valerie walk behind them. "What about you? Are you okay?" Robin held a hand to Valerie's back gently. "I kind of... forgot I got stabbed by those ugly little creatures, but I think I'm okay. Not woozy like Steve." She says and Robin looks at her back, gently pulling the shirt back to see the wounds weren't bleeding.

"Maybe they didn't dug deep enough, that's good, right?" She asked and Val looks up at her, nodding softly. "I'm okay, Robin. Don't have to worry about me." She smiles softly and Robin squeezes her hand in her girlfriend's gently. "I'll always worry about you." She says and Valerie smiles, walking closer to her.
