Dixie's pov:
I woke up in the middle of the dark not knowing the time , I checked my phone and it was 11 pm. I put my phone down then I went to the bathroom. I peed and washed my face then went downstairs, they're not awake. Noooo I'm really hungry ! I don't know how to make food ! I sat in the living room and hugged my legs. I was too hungry, I need something to eat. I cried , yes I cried bc I was hungry. Dump reason ik. I kept crying then I heard someone walking downstairs.

L: Dixie , why are you awake in that time ?
D: I-I'm hungry
L: I am too , do you want pasta ? Or nuggets?
D: idk , whatever you like
L: I'll make nuggets ( goes to the kitchen)
D: ( follows him )
L: ( puts the nuggets in the air fryer then sits on the counter ) so , how do you think of us ?
D: umm you have an amazing family, they're so nice.
L: and me ??! You just talked about my parents
D: oh right , sorry .
L: it's ok
D: I think you would be a nice brother to me
L: well ofc I am. Why are you standing ? Sit here ( taps on the counter)
D: ( tries to sit on the counter but can't )
L: ( helps her ) here
D: thx
L: do you think you're gonna stay here ?
D: yes , even tho I wanted to be without parents but I feel loved here. I think I'm gonna stay
L: finally ! I've been alone for 20 years in this house and I finally have a sister !
D: ( smiles ) do you have a gf ?
L: no
D: oh ok
L: do you have male friends?
D: yes , and no one is gonna stop me from being their friend .
L: we'll see about that.
D: excuse me sir , you're not my brother yet , even if you are , you can't control me or my life !
L: ok did I said something?
D: just letting you know that you can never control my life.
L: you're right , I can't. But what if dad found out ? You think he'll be happy about it ?
D: h-he won't ?
L: ofc he won't my dear ! He would make you leave them rn !
D: I don't want to leave my friends! I love them !
L: but dad will hate you , which one is better , your friends or your dad ? Huh ? I'd be found out , he will punish you and make you regret-
D: ( starts crying)
L: wait you actually believe that ?? Dixie omg ! ( starts laughing)
D: ( still crying)
C: ( walks downstairs) what's going on here ?
L: I accidentally made her cry ! ( laughing)
C: oh Dixie , princess why are you crying?
D: w-will you be mad at me for having male friends?
C: no why would I be mad ?
D: Louis just told me that if you found out , you'll punish me.
C: Louis , it's her first day here , don't make her hate it.
L: I was joking dad !
C: ( sighs ) don't joke like that again
L: ok
D: ( wipes her tears ) when will the nuggets be ready?
L: five minutes later
D: ok
C: I'll go back to my room. Don't believe anything he say Dixie. 
D: ok
C: and you , don't mess with her
L: ( laughs) ok
C: I'm not kidding
L: okay okay !
C: also , Dixie has school tomorrow, take her there
L: ok I will
C: gn ( goes to his room )

We talked a little then the nuggets were done , we ate them we went to our rooms and fell asleep.
