Lights, bright lights.

As the lights shuddered on, Kagayaku could feel herself become dizzy, disoriented. Where was she? How'd she get here? She didn't know, all she knew was that she was here now and that there were several dragons staring right into her soul. The young IceWing SandWing hybrid trembled underneath all of these gazes, who were these dragons? Her head was brimming with questions that she couldn't ask, or receive answers for.

Looking around, the place that Kagayaku was in seemed to be a hospital with pristine white walls and curtains, but the windows were all blocked off with wood and tape. On the wall at the far back of the room was the words 'TIME TO KILL TIME' scrawled onto the beautiful walls in what looked like black spray paint, ruining the shininess of the wall. Kagayaku grimaced, who'd write such a thing in a hospital?

On the hybrid's body was a light blue hospital gown made out of such a thin fabric it was almost impossible to know that she was wearing it. It was cold to the touch and light blue in colour, ending just where her tail began. Her wings were paralysed, unable to move, oddly stiff, why was that? More questions arose in her brain, frustration beginning to seep into her as she knew these would never be answered as long as she was here, in this... Hospital, if you could even call it that.

"And who are you?"

The sudden voice made Kagayaku flinch, turning her head in the direction of the voice to see a tall brown and black RainWing standing over her. Long, sharp fangs stuck out of her mouth and her underbelly was a pale brown in colour. She had black stripes running down her back and her main scale colour was a chocolatey brown. Her ruff was the same colour as her underbelly, and her eyes were a light, ice cold blue, similar to the colour of Kaga's hospital gown. The RainWing's neck was extremely long, like a SkyWing's, and she appeared to be wearing a golden necklace with an hourglass at the end of it.

The young hybrid would've answered her question, but for some reason, she couldn't even speak, her mouth wouldn't even open. Kagayaku blinked at the RainWing who walked up to her. "I know who you are." She said suddenly, inspecting her face, causing discomfort in the dragonet. "Kagayaku." The RainWing grabbed Kaga's face suddenly, forcing her to look upwards at the RainWing's face. "Who couldn't know who you are? You possess powers beyond any other mortal dragonet." She continued on, letting go of her face as she stepped back, four black stars appearing around her head and circling her.

"Those with abilities like yours need to be kept away." The RainWing hissed. "Far, far away, where our secrets cannot get out and run rampant amongst you stupid, stupid mortals." She hissed. Kagayaku narrowed her eyes, what was she talking about? Who was this?

With a circular motion of the RainWing's finger, the writing at the back of the room changed suddenly. It now read "THOSE WHO FIGHT ARE LOST."

"But you should know that by now, shouldn't you?" The mysterious RainWing said, grabbing Kagayaku's attention and making her turn to look at her instead of the writing. She suddenly vanished and reappeared right in front of Kagayaku's face, only inches away from her. "So, what's my advice to you, strange hybrid child? Don't get involved with the supernaturals, they will ruin your life." She hissed before everything went black, as if Kaga was sucked into the void.

OH!

She shot up, looking around the familiar room she was in. Just a dream. She thought, letting out a breath she never knew she was holding. She was relieved in a way, that RainWing was weird and scary, she definitely didn't want to encounter her again. The young hybrid's gaze was then turned to the window, noticing it was still dark as she looked at the clock.

00:00

Kagayaku cocked her head slightly. Midnight? She thought, confused. I would've thought it was morning, but whatever, I guess I'll try get back to sleep, then-

Her thoughts were cut off by something. There was something in her room, something unwelcome, something dark, something strange.

Something dangerous.
