"Alam mo, kahit ilang beses mo pa 'ko yakapin at kahit gaano katagal pa, kailangan ko na talagang umalis, darling. Baka maiwan pa 'ko ng eroplano." Natatawang sabi ni Leon kay Therese na hindi sya mabitaw-bitawan.

She even laughed when she saw na naluluha na ito at naka-pout pa na parang baby.

She put both hands on both cheeks, gently rubbing her thumbs on blushing cheeks. "Mabilis lang 'to, mahal. I promise you."

Therese opened her eyes to meet Leon's eyes.

Those sweet little eyes that stare at me and make me say...

O, eh di nabudol na naman sya sa pagtitig ng girlfriend nya na ganyan.

"Sige na nga..." But didn't stop pouting. "Pero kasi naman eh! That's three months with you miles away from me~ sama mo na lang ako, mahal... Please?" She even stomped her foot like a child.

Multiple giggling can be heard from the back and Leon turned to see their kids, only without her bunso and middle kid, obviously having fun of them being clingy to each other.

"Hay nako ang mga pa-senior citizen hindi pa din mapaghiwalay hanggang ngayon." Leon's panganay, Jessi teased. Elbowing Therese's bunso, Hyacinth na kanina pa din natatawa sa kanila.

"Parang mga teenager ba, Jess?" Chito added.

Luisa, or Izzy and Lana, pointed at their mom who's now frowning. "Oo, parang mga teenager Kuya. Three months lang naman eh. Itong mga nanay natin parang hindi na magkikita ng years! Kaloka! Tignan nyo si Mama sobrang clingy at iyakin. Parang bata."

Smiling, Leon hugged Therese protectively with both arms then gave their kids a mock glare. "Kayo ha. Inaaway nyo tong asawa ko." Which made Therese pout even more but deep down enjoying the feeling of being enveloped by Leon's protective arms.

"Hindi to iyakin na parang bata kasi kahit anong anggulo, pa-senior na talaga to. Iyaking pa-senior dapat. ARAY!" She chuckled while nursing her arm na natampal ni Therese. "Joke lang naman, darling. Hindi na. Pero kailangan ko na talagang umalis, ano'ng oras na."

"Pwede bang dito ka na lang?"

Leon gave her girlfriend a mock glare. So Therese put both her hands up, "Sama ko sayo?"

"Mag-papaiyak ka pa sa senado, mahal. Saka alam ko naman hindi mo kaya iwanan yung bansa natin in the hands of those bozos, di ba?" Leon smiled softly at her. She pulled her in for another hug, Therese quickly snuggling on her neck. "I'm so proud of you. Sorry kailangan mo'ng makipaglaban ng mag-isa."

"Hindi mo naman kasalanan eh..." Therese mumbled against her neck which made Leon smile wider.

She gave the kids a side glance and smirk.

"Sige... I'll facetime you na lang kaagad right after I settled. Okay? Can you imagine doing it LDR style?" She whispered loudly which made the kids protest in disgust.

"Eeewww! Ma!!!"

"I will never go inside Mama's room pag alam kong magkausap sila."

This made Therese laugh while Leon looked at their small family proudly. "But seriously, love. Three months lang tong Harvard ko. Saka God knows how Patty needs me to help her with household chores."
