A day inside!

The next day it was raining quite hard so no one could go outside meaning you 6 were all stuck inside
"This is so boring." Fleur whined
"Would you rather help Gobber at the smithy?" Talia asked
"I take it back!" Fleur exclaimed
"Thought so." Talia huffed
"Now that we're stuck inside. What food do we want to eat? All I have is some extra mutton and apples." You stated
"Mutton!" Amira exclaimed
"Apples please." Apollo stated
"Both." Fleur said
"Not hungry." Koami replied
"Apples and a bit of mutton!" Talia answered
You happily grabbed it hearing the rain pour outside loudly.
"I wonder what they're doing at dragons edge since it's raining." Koami said
"You know the fierce dragon riders, right?" Fleur said taking a bite of cold food
"Y'know! They're probably still out adventuring or doing whatever!"
Talia exclaimed
"Ever since Dagur got released they're probably on super high alert!" Amira said
"Yup!" You exclaimed
"If only we had dragons." Apollo stated
"Soon! I mean, when hiccup was our age he got a night fury! And the other riders got dragons too!" Koami said
Y/N smiled while sitting down.

"Probably! And let's hope that we all don't get Gronckles from Gobber." You joked
"Who knows. Fleur has been quite the pain." Koami stated
"Fleur does act quite rude." Apollo said
"I don't! You're all to soft to see my constructive criticism!" Fleur exclaimed
"Definitely." Talia said slowly
"If there's anyone who's gonna get a gronckle it'll be Fleur, he adores boulder class dragons!" Amira stated
"So mean! You're just like the people of berk talking about me!" Fleur said.
The people of Berk didn't like Fleur a lot and looked down on him saying he has the ego of a jorgenson or that he's too mean
"Don't worry Fleur. Once we get dragons Berk will think highly of you." Koami reassured
"Higher than any of you." Fleur snorted
Amira laughed as Talia smiled and fixed her posture before getting up and going towards the fireplace
"Anyone know how to start a fire?"
Talia asked
"Yup! I've been doing this ever since I was 6!" Amira said
"We can tell." Fleur stated
"Teach me in your spare time!"
Apollo exclaimed
Amira got up and lit the fire using quite the weird technique but it worked anyways which was quite surprising.

"Anyone wanna go into the woods tomorrow? Get a view of the landscape outside of the village?" You asked
You looked out the window as Talia did too before immediately closing it with a loud creak since the rain was starting to get in
"But why? Seems pointless." Amira stated
"Why not? We might even spot some wild Terrible Terror's!" Koami exclaimed
"We aren't winning this." Apollo said
"Saw that coming." Fleur replied
"Then it's a yes!" You stated proudly
"But what part of the forest?" Koami asked
"North, it's colder there. Has a nice beach. And has tall trees for more dragon observing!"
You stated
You smiled before sitting back down.
"The rain stopped guys!" Talia said
"Let's go!" Amira said
You opened the door and ran out as a puddle below you had splashed but you all didn't care and since Stoick was there it wasn't really the time to care
"It's been a long rainy day." You sighed
"Definitely." Fleur stated
Amira laughed as a couple Deadly Nadder hatchlings ran towards Talia
"Look! They're adorable! Hello sweeties!" Talia exclaimed
She happily crouched down as the Deadly Nadder's roared happily while sniffing her fingers and her clothes curiously.

"What's the plans for berk's 400th anniversary?" You asked
"Eh. Who knows." Gobber stated
"You don't know?..." koami said very confused
"Nope! No one ever tells me anything here about special events. Afraid I'll ruin it." Gobber said while banging on a metal plate
"Okay... we would ask Stoick but he's a bit..." Amira said
"Occupied." Fleur finished
You and Gobber looked off towards Stoick who was walking away clearly angry at something but most people couldn't tell what.
"Cya Gobber!" Talia exclaimed
You waved before walking off with your friends while the baby Deadly Nadder's walked towards their mother who was practicing spine shot accuracy on a wooden house without the owner knowing
"There's Spitelout!" You said
He landed on his Deadly Nadder before hopping off and heading towards the great hall
"I've heard he chickened out in front of Astrid." Fleur whispered
"Its really surprising from a jorgenson with a reputation like his!" Apollo whisper shouted
Talia laughed out loud before hushing herself as the sky began to turn grey again as it was at the start of the day.
"Rain? Again?" You said
"Let's hurry to Apollo's house!"
Fleur exclaimed
Talia and Koami took off quickly after.

"Now that we're stuck inside again. What shall we do?" Fleur asked
"Your hut is a tad bit small don't you think?" Amira asked
"Hey! My family isn't as big as yours!"
Apollo said
Fleur snorted before sitting down on the leather blanket trying to keep himself warm since this time the rain was quite cold with it getting darker by the minute
"I don't have as much blankets. But it'll do." Apollo stated
Amira smiled as a blanket was dropping onto her happily.
"The suns set fully! I better get going to sleep." Apollo said
"You have a bedtime?..." koami asked
"It's a routine!" Apollo protested
"I take it back. You act like Fishlegs the most." Fleur stated
"How do you know he has a bedti-"
You were cut off
"Don't question it!" Fleur exclaimed
You smiled before laying down knowing that the rest of the night will either be spent in bickering and insults or everyone ending up already asleep. Everyone was excited to go into the forest tomorrow to find supplies like branches for future projects or documenting dragons which would explain why the night ended in everyone sleeping instead of the first option of heavy bickering.
