it's been a while since i perceived
a glimpse of light and hope on my path
everything has been a blur
hoping it's just a phase that i have to endure
as i dissolve in the speed of time
strolling mindlessly by a straight line
friends of mine leaving me behind
while the soul in me remain stiff
yet how long?
